The location and ambience of the hotel is great. The staff were also nice when they were reachable. But the hotel is not AMEX FHR level hotel and should not be on FHR. Most of the time, guest service is unreachable. The breakfast credit is unusable because of limited and bad menu options and no room service for breakfast. No welcome stuff in the room which is standard for any AMEX FHR hotel. Also, the rooms are noisy and blinds don''t close. Vallet parking is expensive. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel if you are booking through FHR.

Great hotel marred by parking options. Option 1: $47/day for valet. Option 2: $5/day at public lot across the street BUT it requires payment at midnight and the line can take up to 30 min. Staff, food, location, and cleanliness of room were exceptional.

This was a staycation for us and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel is in a great location and the quality of the facility is exceptional. We WILL go back! The service was phenomenal also. The Rooftop Bar was very fun and highly recommend!

We chose Mission Pacific Hotel for the first time for our couples' event for our ministry. What a stunning hotel! From the planning staff to the welcoming valet staff, we had a wonderful experience! And what a great view! We can't wait to come back next year!

t down to Oceanside for our wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay! We were upgraded to the king studio ocean front room which is what dreams are made of! It was decorated for our anniversary which made the weekend that much more memorable. The room had a huge tub, separate shower, amazing daybed looking out at the ocean, large balcony with incredibly comfortable chairs… actually everything I sat on in that hotel was incredibly comfortable especially the pool chairs. Perfection. This resort is directly across from the ocean with a perfect little playground right on the sand. Behind the playground is the vintage airstream with beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels that they set up and take down for you. This is truly relaxing in luxury. The icing on the cake was the staff. Everyone I encountered was not only extremely friendly but willing and able to help me with any request or question I had. I cannot thank the General Manager, Matthew de Guzman, enough for our unforgettable anniversary trip! Book this hotel, you will not regret it!
