Always a great experience

Josh the restaurnt/bar manager saved our Xmas dinner!!! Thank you so much to Josh and the whole Argonaut team?? We stayed in the hotel in Feb 2024. had a great large room. All the staff incl. the cleaning ladies were extremely nice and helpful. It‘s a safe and clean area around the hotel. We definitely come back. M&A

Cute hotel in a great location

The location of this hotel is A+ and a very classy place to stay. Easy walk to lots of attractions in San Francisco. The hotel room was a good size and comfortable. Very cute ocean themed room including octopus wallpaper in the bathroom which I would love in my home The only downsides were that I wish there was more staff/guest interaction which would make it feel more welcoming. The shower wasn’t very hot and reception took quite a large deposit upon check in - more than the total amount of my accommodation - and it took 2 weeks to clear which hurt my credit card for future hotel deposits However these weren’t huge issues and I would 100% return on my next trip

Excellent Service

The Argonaut front desk run by Luis did an excellent job checking us in. Fantastic hotel and great location with superb staff. The accommodations weee clean and tidy. The Blie Mermaid restaurant in-house does a very good job. No complaints They allowed us to store our tandem bicycle that was a huge benefit.

We flew in from Canada for a bucket list trip. The hotel amenities were excellent. Overall staff were kind, friendly and helpful. However, we purchased a resort package and were told upon check in that we had a daily 30$ credit (that we paid for) in addition to a 15$ daily credit, for total of 45$ daily for food and drinks. We asked for clarification and were told three times at check in that we had 45$ daily to be credited for food and drinks, as long as we charged these to our room. Evidently, we ate more at the hotel restaurant for this reason. Upon check out, the hotel told us it was one or the other for a credit and not both. When I tried to explain that this was not what we were told upon check-in, the hotel staff laughed and made me feel stupid like I had misunderstood and then proceeded to ask if we wanted the 30$ or the 15$ credit - seriously? He did not make any attempts to resolve the situation, call a manager nor did he apologize. This was disappointing after such a great week, and expecting to have a larger rebate (in a very expensive city). I told him that I wasn’t saying he was wrong - but that this was not what we were told upon check in. We did not have time to argue as we had a flight to catch and the Uber was waiting. Mistake or not, it wasn’t our mistake and the credit of 45$ daily should have been honoured. Everything else was great, including the food.

Lovely hotel and a great location.

Great location, lovely unique hotel and friendly staff! Loved the hotel and the nautical theme. Staff were helpful and attentive. After travelling around the US, I love that a coffee machine is provided in the rooms! Can’t fault the hotel at all.
