I had an amazing holiday in St Lucia. Very comfortable stay at Bay Gardens Hotel. Clean room and facilities. Peaceful swimming pool and gardens. Close walking distance to the beach or accessible via a free hourly shuttle bus. Excellent bar with delicious drinks. The staff were fantastic and really made my stay special - all so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Quincy, Terry, Helena and Danny who went the extra mile. This was my first time in St Lucia but I will definitely be back!

Wow, what can I say about this beautiful hotel. First thing is to ignore all the negative comments about this hotel. It may only be classed as a 3 star hotel but you get 5 star treatment from the staff. The food and drinks are the best I have had and we will deffo be back again. The weather was great and we only had a couple of downpours that soon dried up. The rooms are very comfortable and recently decorated. A huge 10 out of 10 from me. At Lucia in my eyes is on par with Barbados, if not better.

My experience at the Bay Gardens Hotel was horrible. The staff at the front desk are not friendly, it's as if they don't want to be there. Find another hotel. I stayed in the Croton suites which are old, out dated and in need of significant update and repair. On arrival the room we checked into had cracked pieces of tile and additional debris in the tub. This was so bad my wife and I didn't feel comfortable using the tub and reported this to the front desk manager. There was no response that night to the reported issue. The next morning we were moved to another room which was worse. Broken cabinets in the kitchen, dirty room, another old tub where the water didn't drain properly. The tub was so high you needed a step ladder to get into it. While taking a shower the water would backup to the point where your feet were covered with water, nasty. Additionally at night we saw bugs on the batroom floor. Large bugs that resembled waterbugs or roaches. After complaining again the room was thoroughly cleaned, drain repaired and sparyed for bugs, horrible experience. I will never return to this hotel again.

I am not sure why people are writing a 4-star reviews for this hotel. The hotel is older, dirty and not well maintained. The jr. suite that we had was dirty, ants everywhere including in our bed. It does not feel good when you wake up in the middle of the night and the ants are crawling on you! The breakfast was rationed and very random at best - having stewed kidney meat for breakfast was definitely a shockingly surprise. The grill to make eggs/omelets looked like it was never cleaned. The only good part was having a shuttle that would take you to their sister hotel, which is where we would spend the day to stay away from this place. Overall, I would stay away!

Always great to do my complimentary night at the Bay Gardens Hotel/Inn. This time we got a room at the Inn and got an upstairs room as I requested. Dinner was very good , service was excellent. Loved the karaoke night. Breakfast next day was very good and so was lunch. Everyone made me and my significant other feel welcome.
