Nice Westin Hotel in a strategic location in Whistler
Patric01 (Jakarta, Indonesia) on May 09, 2025
Westin resort and spa is located in Whistler village, a very good location where we can easily find good foods/restaurants and a lot of good shops in a cozy and nice village… with superb views and facility... too, such as Gondola, etc. Due to my lifetime Platinum status, our room was upgraded to bi-loft room with superb view of mountain and golf course, plus free breakfast in lieu of welcome bonus point. The room was nice, clean and has comfortable bed. It’s also spacious enough and comes with complete amenities. One thing that probably can be improved is on parking facility, since in house guest still need to pay $34++, I believe this should be free for in house guest, at least for Bonvoy elite members.
Great time

Very high end resort with great service and comfortable amenities. The beds were extremely comfortable and I had the best sleep in a long time. Water in every room and room service daily. Highly recommend.... I would return in a heart beat, thanks so much.
Perfect Mountain Escape at the Westin Whistler

We had an amazing stay at the Westin Whistler — truly a 5-star experience! The location can’t be beat: just steps from the gondola and right on the village stroll, with shops and restaurants all around. T...he rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, and we loved the cozy atmosphere throughout the hotel. The on-site bar and restaurant were fantastic — great food and drinks after a day out. The pool area is a bit small, but it was perfect for a relaxing soak. From check-in to checkout, everything was smooth. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Whistler — whether you're skiing, hiking, or just looking to unwind.
Best location to Whistler Gondola

We go skiing in Whistler every year and usually stay in Blackcomb. This year, we decided to switch things up and stay in Whistler Village at the Westin. While the hotel isn't luxurious as the Fairmont or t...he Four Seasons, it does offer better distance to the village. Staying in Whistler Village made it easier to get around on foot and enjoy everything the village has to offer. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely view of the gondola. Despite being just steps from the gondola, it was surprisingly quiet, and we slept very well. The room also had a kitchenette, which was really convenient on days we didn’t feel like dining out. The restaurant was decent, and having a Starbucks in the lobby was a nice touch. Ski equipment rental was located right downstairs in the hotel, which made everything incredibly convenient. The pool area was beautiful, with both indoor and outdoor sections. We also enjoyed the spa, although the air conditioning was a bit too cold making it harder to fully relax. Overall, the best thing about this hotel is definitely the location, and while it’s not ultra luxurious, it’s a very nice place to stay.
Noisy, maybe good for families, alternating attitude towards customers

Good: Location, the outside heated pool, the concierge service, the breakfast food selection. Bad: Sauna and steam bath small and loud, little unsupervised kids coming in and out, no quiet relaxation area.... Ski rental extremely expensive, for one week as much as new skis. Restaurant requires credit card secured reservation from hotel guests, service with alternating quality, often very noisy. Staff in general with alternating attitudes towards customers.
