Please take the overly positive reviews with caution—many seem to come from local guests. If you're an international traveler, especially from Canada, I recommend reading reviews from fellow tourists for a... more accurate reflection of this resort. We traveled as three families (14 people total) and arrived late due to flight delays. Right from the start, the experience was disappointing. The lobby looked neglected and unclean, and unfortunately, the service matched—particularly at the bar, where we were met with rudeness instead of a warm welcome. Our rooms were in very poor condition: a strong smell of mold, broken furniture, stained sheets, and multiple cockroach sightings. It was upsetting for everyone, especially our children, who were genuinely distressed and wanted to leave. The issues didn’t stop there. The dining areas were unhygienic, with visible roaches around food stations and appliances. The food quality was poor, drinks were subpar, and the staff seemed indifferent to concerns. Essentials like clean towels, toilet paper, or working locks were often unavailable or required repeated requests. We were locked out of our room and waited four hours for help—no working phones meant walking long distances just to reach reception. Securing beach chairs required lining up at dawn or tipping staff, only to find everything already taken. The hotel was clearly overbooked, and it often felt like international guests were treated as second priority. After multiple room changes due to mold and non-functioning air conditioning, and three days of back-and-forth with our Sunwing rep, we finally switched hotels. It took serious persistence, as staff at this resort initially gave false information about availability elsewhere. Only after firm insistence were we able to move—despite the new resort confirming they had space all along. This was not the relaxing vacation we had hoped for. It was stressful, uncomfortable, and far below even modest expectations. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share this experience in hopes of saving others from a similar situation. Bottom line: Look elsewhere. This resort needs major improvements before it can deliver a quality guest experience.

The experience was good in general The beach is really really good... white sand and blue clear waters...very friendly people...we always felt save... the entertainment team was the best part by far... esp...ecially YURIAN ... thanks for all your help

Lianne at the front desk was awesome she was there to help us and she did everything to help us to get a great trip. The cleaning was well done and did some arts with the blanket, they gave us now water bo...ttles when we needed. We always had new towels. It was a great place. The drinks were very good.

We stayed at this all inclusive hotel toward the end of the stay in Cuba. Whilst the hotel was clean & rooms confortable. The services provided fell short of expectations. The buffet Lunch & dinner, was we...ll stocked, but did not really cater for vegetarians, only one choice and was warm pasta dish. The telephone system was not working, so any informaiton or problem had to be made in person at reception, approx quarter of a mile from the room. The pool & beach facilites were good & the pool side snack bar provided better food options for vegetarians.

I was hesitant about spending my vacations here because I was told that the hotel was slightly old, but after going and seeing it myself despite this statement being true it was still totally worth it! The... beach is beautiful, the people are kind and the treatment is top notch! Its really clean and I would definitely come back again.
