The Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, FL has a terrific location on the beach and was a great choice for our business conference, Part of the large outside pool deck is under construction, with barrier walls ...and ongoing daily jackhammer work (March 2025), that guests on the beach can also hear. That is the reason for our the 1-star deduction . Be aware that the noise outside can be disruptive, but it did not disturb us in our room or conference center. Our room on the 35th floor was very quiet, the view was beautiful, and the service was excellent in the conference center. Special recognition to Lisa at the front desk who recognized our Hilton Diamond Honors status and to Hugo in the conference center who worked non-stop during our 3-day conference and was so friendly and helpful. There are also several dining options on property, and a Publix grocery store within sight of the hotel,, but other offsite dining requires an Uber (not much walkable nearby). Overall, I’d come back for business travel but wouldn’t extend my stay again unless the construction is over.

This is the most gorgeous resort! Joe at the concierge was extremely helpful and assisted me with my questions regarding the pool. I will definitely highly recommend this gorgeous resort to anyone and ever...yone! The convention center is beautiful and Gabriela was the best at assisting our group for our event!

Clean, beautiful, and right near the beach. The staff is wonderful from Sandra in the lobby to the waiters in the restaurant. The bar staff is very knowledgeable about the drinks and fast delivery. The ...Prime Steakhouse was so delicious, the Coffee Shop has the most decadent desserts. I'll definitely stay here again..

The construction involves the pool area. Some places are walled off. This interferes with the pool experience. Apparently the lobby bar area has just been redone; it works very well now. The area is large ...so early in the day, the tables function as coffee and eating areas from the adjacent Counterpoint cafe. We had some good group drinks, chats and late dinner at the bar. The bar served Impossible burgers (plant based burger) and we had an all-vegetarian group so that was a big hit. The rooms are pretty and well fitted out. Be aware of very high parking and valet prices. We used Uber instead and after checkout, we rented a car from Avis right across the street.

So on our third day that was raining.We were able to utilize The hotel bar. We had the pleasure of meeting Ed and LC.They were both extremely attentive and made use feel right at home. LC took our drink or...der (2Blue Long Islands)and after some small talk with Ed he learned we were there to celebrate my birthday which was yesterday. He immediately grabbed our ticket to say its on the house! We were very appreciative and stayed for three more rounds. Ed and LC both are displaying stellar customer service. I felt like a local they have known for years. Thank you both for a wonderful experience and conversation. I hope One of the Two if not both Ed and Elsie are on shift to serve you.
