Great location!

With the beach right there, this hotel is tough to beat. The beds were great and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool is decent as well. The negatives were the noise from the construction, although we are early risers ourselves, it’s a bit overwhelming and if you are there to rest this won’t be a great experience. The dinner buffet was also a disappointment, very expensive for what you get. The food was not enjoyable and the service that night was sub par. Overall though, when the building is done behind the hotel (and it’s obviously not the hotels fault), we would probably stay there again.
Great location and staff.

Great Resort. Very friendly staff, valets are top notch. Location is hard to beat. I would definitely go back again. Location is across the street from Waikiki beach. You can walk to everywhere you would want to go in the area. Great shopping and live music near pool.
Would recommend again!

Great location, super close to everything you will want to see and do. Car rentals locations are close as well. Lots of dining and shopping options! We stayed for 9 days and that was perfect! ABC stores on every corner for any snacks! Some great local food trucks that I would recommend!
Don't Go!!!

I stayed at this hotel during the Christmas season for our second family trip. My wife and I had an excellent experience during our first visit, which is why we chose to return. Unfortunately, our second stay was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. Firstly, the parking situation was a nightmare. Despite charging $55 per night for parking, finding a spot was nearly impossible. On one occasion, there were no spots available, and we were forced to use valet. When I asked if I would need to pay the additional cost for valet service, the parking staff shrugged it off, saying it wasn’t their responsibility and advised me to address it with the front desk. This led to an exhausting ordeal. I waited 30 minutes to an hour just to hand over my car keys to the valet, as there were so many cars ahead of me. After that, I spent another 30 minutes at the front desk trying to resolve the issue and have the extra valet fee waived. This experience was especially taxing after a long day of exploring the island. My pregnant wife and I were completely drained, and the last thing we needed was such poor service and disorganization. In hindsight, my friends were right—spending a little extra for the Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort would have been worth it. I will definitely choose the Sheraton next time and will never return to this hotel.
Run down Hyatt on Waikiki

This hotel needs a lot of TLC. This does not meet the typical standards of other Hyatt hotels I have stayed at. The room, furniture and bathroom were banged up pretty good. It reminded me of a hotel that was a teenager party spot. If you are more into the beach and Honolulu, you may not mind.
