We keep coming back to this place! Location, service, pool side service, cleanliness, views... there is no downside here. Great place for a family to stay and take advantage of the location. Everyting is a...ccessible. Tour access is right there.

Great location, public beach right across, huge complex of shopping, restaurants and activities. Pool service from Mary was fantastic—small pool, but it seemed to be a good vibe. Grace at the front desk wa...s wonderful, smart, creative and helpful. Good downtown beach hotel.

A horrible experience from the beginning to the end. I stayed three days here. First at the entrance, it was poorly organized at valet parking. Waited for 20mins to get someone to take care of us. No lugga...ge assistance. During check-in, very rude front desk. Said no to every my requests even I had guest of honor benefit. I was OK without upgrade or ocean view but he assigned me to a narrow dark room right next to the elevator. I could heard the elevator all the time. I argued very hard to get another room at 5th floor in the phone. They said we could directly go to the room and they would deliver the key to us. After almost 30mins waiting in the hallway with our luggage, I gave up and went down to the front desk and asked very hard again to get the key. It was again a very bad room and I can hear the noise from the lobby and restaurant (they had Japanese party everyday). I was too tired to change so I accepted. Every staff is very rude. They have very different attitudes toward white people and Japanese people. I asked for water four times in the Regency club, front desk and valet parking, all the answer I got is get your own (in a very rude way). The one in the guest service line even yelled at me saying “don’t you see the bottles in your room? Go to the ice machine and get the water yourself” It is my first time in Hawaii so I didn’t know bottle water was not provided but you can tell me in a polite way. Finally I asked if I could have a slightly late check-out because of a booked activity in the morning. Late check-out is included in my GOH benefit but again I was rejected and I had to check out 5:30 am in the morning. I moved to Ritz-Carlton Waikiki after checkout, which is a fantastic experience and I was finally treated as human.

Excellent service and close to major attractions and transportation. The Diamond Head tower had greats views and ADA accommodations available. Check in and out was easy. Food was average and there were ...many great restaurant's close by. I would come n
