Please note the following temporary closure at Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach, Trademark. The restaurant and deck that serves as Oliva A-la-Carte Restaurant (by night) and the Snack bar Beach Grill (by day) for a complete renovation.
The renovation will commence on August 5th, 2024 for 3 weeks, reopening on Monday, September 2, 2024 . During the closure, the capacity at Souk a-la-carte at the nearby Grand Decameron Montego Beach, Trademark will be increased to accommodate additional bookings. The a-la-carte menu at Souk will be rotated alternatively with the Oliva menu. The Beach Grill menu will be served at Souk, 11am to 5pm daily and The Midnight Snack Menu will be served at Souk, 11pm to 2am.
All efforts will be made to minimize guest impact during this time.

Overall, the quality of the food and services were not “royal” and did not match the high price of our stay.

Food: If you are looking for authentic Jamaican food, look outside of this resort. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner lacked the flavors of the island. On multiple occasions, I settled for a plate of boiled vegetables due to the disappointing selections of meat and other dishes. The bar does not serve basic soft drinks like Sprite, Ginger Beer, or Ginger Ale. There seems to be a shortage of spoons as well. Towel Service: For three consecutive days, beach towels were unavailable in the morning. Staff: The multi-talented staff were friendly and polite. They ensured that my family and I were enjoying ourselves and taking advantage of all the activities the resort had to offer. Animals: There are cute cats on the premises. Rooms: Rooms are air conditioned. The cleaning staff kept my room sparkling and tidy. After the first night, they only provided one towel set for a three person room.

Staff extremely nice, food average at best. Restaurants seem very disorganized. Coffee cafe worth the price of admission. Room nice and clean, huge bathroom. Daryl at front desk needs a promotion as does Bellman Jerome. Daytime entertainment was weak. Property clean, pool was nice
