Don’t Come Here…,Please

The experience was horrible. My family was there to celebrate my niece’s graduation. When we arrived at the hotel there were no rooms available and waited about 2 hours before we got rooms. The rooms are b...asic, very basic and in need of an upgrade. There were comforters on the beds and we had to ask for them. The shower was really crappy, water was usually not hot. Whenever we showered the entire bathroom floor got wet. They provide 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels per room. When we asked for washcloths we were told “ we don’t do washcloths”. The towels were old and dingy, no longer white from years of use. Some of the towels should be discarded and thrown out, no longer fit for human use. The hotel did not provide body wash. The staff is in need of training/retraining. They seem to always be upset and behave as though they are annoyed by guests’ requests. Not sure if they understand that the hospitality industry is customer focused. Some dining room staff were rude. We were a group of 10, most nights the servers did not put the tables together to accommodate us but told us which tables we could put together. One night at dinner a staff member came up to our table and started sweeping while some of the group was at the buffet. A little later the server came up to me and asked me if I was still sitting; there was a guest standing behind him with a plate of food in her hand, apparently looking for a table. It was obvious that I was sitting with dessert in front of me. I felt that I was being rushed out of the dining room. There seems to be the expectation that guests are supposed to tip staff for service. I have no problem with tipping, I gladly tip for exceptional service, however I will not tip for service that is grudgingly provided. Most of the staff barely provide good service, nothing great, just the bare minimum. The food left a lot to be desired. It was almost always cold, or room temperature at best. It was also sadly lacking in variety. Most days the same dishes were offered for breakfast, lunch and dinner. One time I went to the snack bar and ordered a snack for a member of our group who was at the pool. I was told by a large lady that I could not take food out of the snack bar and that the food had to be consumed on premises. She kept following me around to make sure I did not leave with any food. I thought this was arbitrary since we had taken food out of the snack bar the day before. There is a lot of room for improvement, the biggest area is staff response and engagement. I definitely will not be returning to this place.

It was a good resort. Besides the vendors everywhere and scammers trying to hassle you don’t on & off the resort the minute the see you. The shower water if iffy, some rooms only have cold temperature. Did... have to switch to a new room after that it was ok just had to wait for the water to get hot.

This was my second trip to this hotel. I caution you not to rate your opinion on all the negative reviews. I give this place 5 stars even though it’s a 3 star resort. I have traveled a lot, been to over 10... countries. I am not a boujee traveler and I’m okay with an outdated shower. I prefer places that offer charm, relaxation, friendly staff and character…if this is you then you will fall in love with this place. Water is hot Food is amazing Pools are clean Drinks are strong Beaches are beautiful I’m not sure what more you could ask for? There are stray cats around the property but this will be anywhere you go on the island. 5 min drive from the airport which will run you $20usd. Book it and try for yourself, you can’t beat the price for everything that you will be getting.

The resort was amazing. The beach was clean, very clear water, the pool and sauna were amazing. Their staff were really amazing really showed they care. They have 24 hours security strategically placed aro...und the resort so there's always a good feeling as it relates to safety. All u can eat buffet style restaurant, a grill and several bars. There's so much more to say but u have to really experience it for yourself, my time there with my wife was amazing .
Management and owner please do better.

We arrived on May 21st and checked out on May 24, 2025. On arrival, we were met with a very bright welcome from Tevin Campbell, who took our luggages and gave us the warmest welcome, and a few minutes lat...er, he had two glasses of fruit punch. At the check-in counter, we were greeted with a happy smile from Konia Francis. There were some issues with our reservation, and the supervisor Anna Gaye was called to assist. It became a very long period because we were there for a conference, and there was a communication breakdown with reservation due to the language barrier at reservation. However, Tevin, Anna, and Konia we exceptionally professional, accommodating, caring, and empathetic during this 5 hours ordeal. When it was all resolved Anna walked us to our room herself and apologized for all the inconvenience. I want to say a special thank you to these three individuals especially and I hope management will see this to recognized them. The beach is beautiful!!! The other staff were friendly and very nice, shenee in the buffet was nice and the few of the waitresses were adorable, with the exception of the supervisor on the AM shift in the main buffet on the Montego side. The food was horrible and we had to be there early to be fed. How can a Jamaican resort mess up on Jerk chicken and Jerk pork(make that make sense!) The faucet were rusty and dirty in the bathroom, no wash cloth, the towels were dirty and smells horrible. Please, owners and management do better!!! I find it disrespectful to take guest money to such deplorable condition.
