Loved this hotel

Absolutely loved this hotel. It far exceeded my expectations. I loved the quality bath products that were in my room. The breakfast that was included was one of the best on this, my first vacation to Arizona. The happy hour and appetizers were a totally unexpected bonus, it was great! The staff was wonderful! I would give this place 5 stars.
Warning! Hiden Resort Fee. "Facility Fee" + Tax = $34.21 per day

This is a nice enough hotel in the Scottsdale area. Clean. Pleasant. However, upon checkout, you may feel burned. Forced into paying an unexpected additional Resort Fee, which they refer to as a "Facility Fee." ($34.21 per day) The hotel knowingly allows third party booking sites, such as Expedia, Priceline, and Super, to imply all costs are paid upfront. (Even choosing to book lower priced rooms with no breakfast included.) Legal, probably. Shady, absolutely!
Great hotel for vacation or business!

We couldn’t be more happy with our stay. The pool was gorgeous, we spent everyday there. The staff made us feel so welcome. Richard the bar tender made us feel like family. I was so impressed by the manager. She checked to see if we were having a great visit everyday! The breakfast was very good. Not concentrated watery eggs! There were so many choices everyday from fruit and yogurt to pancakes on the weekend. We went every night to the happy hour for chips and drinks! Such a nice touch! If you’re looking for clean, this is the place! Rooms, hallways lounges were all kept so nicely. We will definitely be back!
Relaxing hotel with beautiful pool

We really liked this hotel. Our room was a very nice one bedroom suite with a full kitchen, large shower, living room and two TVs. We pretty much came for the pool and landscaped grounds, as we were wanting a low key 2 nights after our busy Sedona weekend. This hotel did not disappoint. It is located a few hundred feet from a mall that had at least 5 restaurants, a grocery store, coffee and clothing stores. We enjoyed the Village Tavern right next door. Walkable even in the 100 degree heat. There is a nightly happy hour from 5-6 w free beverages. The food was chips and dip and salsa and chips. Just enough to take care of the munchies before dining out. Old Town Scottsdale was about a 15 minute drive. Easy to get around. 25 minutes from the airport. Nice area to safely take a walk too. Pool is larger than your typical pool. Lots of chairs, sun, shade. Hot tub. Not too busy. Enough room for a good amount of people. Water was just a touch cooler than I would have liked but easily gotten used to. Great place overall
Sort of Like Guinness-But Worst of the Worst

The breakfast was excellent and the room was large but it didn't make up for the designer toilet which forces the sitter to squat down to reach it only about 10-12 inches off the floor, and the very old and worn mattress with accompanying lead- like pillows. Funny that after mentioning the uncomfortable mattress to the guest representative as I was checking out she told me that the hotel is bringing in all new ones very soon. Guess they can't do much though about those expensive one piece designer toilets that are appropriate for 6 year olds and totally inappropriate to anyone over 50. So the worst of the worst in a couple of ways. Too bad because the location is pretty good and the guest representatives were pleasant too.
