It is nice, but old. Best to get an ocean front or ocean view room so it's closer to the beach or it could be a big walk. The no reserving chairs policy is not enforced so it can be difficult to get a ...spot. Their reservation system for the a la carte restaurants is terrible. There's an app that opens at 8 am but somehow all the restaurants are already gone. They must be giving people who line up first choice, but this is not fair. Everyone should have an equal chance. Might be better to use a fixed allocation like other hotels do - for example 3 per week. No hot water in the shower at times.

The hospitality, location and price make this place a true gem. The staff at this resort is TOP notch, truly world class customer service. Everyone is super friendly, helpful and genuinely kind. The re...sorts location is prime for all sorts of activities; 15 minute walk to downtown Buceria, markets and restaurants, 25-30 minutes drive to Puerto Vallarta, and several other near by towns. The beach area is beautiful with clean beaches and white sand. The resort itself offers all sorts activities to keep you busy through out the day and night. There are several restaurants on the property, however, they pretty much all serve the same type of breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also the option to dine at the specialty restaurant but these require reservations. Overall, the food was decent, however if you wish to sink your teeth to something different you can always eat out; there are plenty of restaurants outside the resort to please any appetite. I highly recommend the Taco joint just a few blocks from the resort; it opens twice a day and it has the best taco in the area. It's a popular place for locals and tourist alike, a must stop if you are staying at the resort. The property itself is clean and well maintained with plenty of bars and bathrooms throughout the resort. There are several pools spread throughout the resort so it never feels overcrowded. Our room was decent and clean with a large bathroom, however, the shower will not always have hot water, for the most part it is always warm. For the price I think this place is great, we had a fun time here as the staff and guest were all friendly and social. Overall, I highly recommend this resort if you are not hung up on all the little imperfections. You too will come to enjoy all the wonderful things this place offers. We will definitely be staying here again.
