Truly enjoyed our family vacation at the resort. Since we didn’t have children in our group we were able to pay to go over on the Secrets side which was nice.

Beautiful views and great service

We had a great time with beautiful views from our room and pool. Some staff were a bit too salesmen like for my style but the rest of the staff were great. The highlight of our trip was we had a dedicated person to help us (they call them butlers) throughout our stay, Ricardo. Not only was he EXTREMELY helpful, he just seemed like a genuinely good and kind person. Thank you Ricardo for providing exemplary service while not losing touch with the human experience.

Was NOT what we expected!

I had issues with water running out in a presidential suite while taking a shower. I had to wait over two minutes for water to start to flow again. The food was not good and room service got our order incorrect twice and took almost two hrs to arrive once. While getting into the beach, I cut my foot on rocks. This made it hard to walk for the rest of the day onto the next day.

Not worth the money. Nice staff but poor food availability and overall hotel condition.

We found the food availability to be one of the most frustrating aspects after our latest amazing experience at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos. Most restaurants are not open until dinner, so you end up at the buffet for 75% of your meals. Food variety was lacking. The service poolside was also not nearly as good as we had experienced elsewhere. Overall, hotel upkeep did not seem up to the level we would expect for this kind of resort including leaks, poor air conditioning in restaurants, and room issues like blackout shades that wouldn't close all the way, dirty bathroom fans and multiple cockroaches in our room that we needed to kill. We ended up sitting through over 2 hours of vacation membership presentations in the promises to get passes to the adults only side of the hotel, only to find that we couldn't even eat at the main restaurant there because we didn't pack long pants and that there was really no other benefit to that side. Very underwhelmed with the whole experience and not up to our typical Hyatt standards.
