Family vacation, sons college graduation gift and overall family vacation

What a wonderful vacation we had at this resort. Staff was amazing, frouditio ( Froudy) was awesome, the rooms are clean and the associate assigned to keep up with our room each day did great. My favorite two bartenders at moments sports bar were Juan and Eduardo. Didn’t matter if it was the 1st drink. Or last drink they made each night it was made with care. Food was also amazing. Don’t miss out on this resort !
Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana Family Trip - Best Resort Gym

My wife and I took our 2 boys (16 and 18) to Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana and spend a week there between late June and early July 2024. We booked a one bedroom master suite club level. First the property is very close to the Punta Cana airport. I think the ride from the airport took us 15 minutes or so. Upon arrival, we were escorted to the Club Lounge where we were greeting immediately. We arrived around noon and check in is not available till 3pm, so they suggested that we have some lunch and look around the property. We received our room at 3pm promptly. The room was as expected. You have a living space with a full bathroom and then a bedroom with another full bath. The pull out couch is fine for the week for my two boys. The room was very clean, new with nothing broke or old looking. The AC was fantastic keeping us very comfortable. The fridge was stocked daily to our expectations. The balcony was very nice with a view of the ocean and the pool area. Food. The buffet might be the best buffet that I have been at. We travel between, Cancun Mexico, Jamaica and Punta Cana so we have many trips to compare. The buffet was different from most resort buffets in that each station has a server. We liked this as it kept the buffet clean. Most food was made to order. I would argue that the buffet food was as good as the restaurants on site if not better. My favorite was the breakfast sand which station. I got the salmon on toast every day. Fantastic. We did have dinner at the Italian (good), Asian (very good), Carribean (good) and Chinola (good) which was the healthy option. All the restaurants were good for resort food. Our only wish is that they had one more restaurant (steak or maybe mexican) available. There is a decent wait (30 min or longer) if you don't have reservations. Fortunately, our butler took good care of us and had reservations for us every day that we wanted. Pool/beach. The pool was very clean. There were enough seats where you might not find a seat right next to the pool, but plenty of loungers available. This is not a party resort, so don't expect a ton of activities around the pool. The beach was fantastic. Just a little seaweed but nothing to worry about. Clear water. Soft sand. Non-motorized activities are available. One of the better beaches we have been at. Gym. The gym was the reason that we booked this resort. Our family loves to workout and we heard that the gym was fantastic and it didn't disappoint. I would say that this gym is as good if not better than most public gyms in the USA and by far the best resort gym we have been to. Tons of equipment, free weights, cardio equipment and other accessories for you to use. There is no way you don't get a good workout here. Overall impression. We liked the Hyatt a bunch. We are not a party family but enjoy fitness, good food and clean resorts. The Hyatt checks all of our boxes and we will definitely return.
