Best all-inclusive we have experienced (actually, best all-around resort)! The service was top-notch. Cannot say enough about how attentive and helpful everyone was at the resort. The food was delicious with lots of options. We did pay extra to dine at the Blind Butcher and it was definitely worth it. Dio provided great entertainment and activities at the pool and Mayreni’s service at the pool was exceptional. The rooms were beautiful, large and clean. There was plenty of space at the pool and beach (and the beach is beautiful). Loved the grilled lunch by the pool each day. The largest and best equipped gym of any hotel/resort. Plenty of activities (we didn’t even have time to experience all of them). Was a wonderful family vacation and we look forward to coming again!

A wonderful relaxing vacation with our adult children. We looked at many options and given that our children are single we opted for the more adult family oriented Zilara. There was really nothing to complain about and the staff was so attentive and amazing. We came home relaxed and ready to tackle our every day life. The Sports bar was full during the college football playoffs with a lot of rivalries in the crowd making it a fun day The beach is calm and so peaceful and non crowded The adult Zilara side was wonderful but being able to enjoy some of the restaurants and bars on the Ziva side was very easy and enjoyable. We loved the after dinner fun at the One Eyed Cat with a fun piano bar atmosphere.

This was our 4th trip to Punta Cana since 2008. We've always stayed at the iberostar bavaro at 3 different levels and always loved it. We've gone to numerous all inclusives throughout the carribean and for the past 2 Septembers we stayed at the Ziva Rose Hall in Montego Bay and loved the brand. So we tried the Zilara Cap Cana. Without a doubt, the Zilara Cap Cana is the best resort we've stayed at ever on all counts. Food, service, activities, the works. When we arrived, Ronald at the front desk greeted us and was there for us whenever we needed him. We'll be back.

We had food poisoning on our last dinner (December 21) after eating at the shutters beachside. We suspect it was because we had the ceviche. The dish is meant to have semi-raw fish, but it gave me such bad diarrhea and caused nausea for four days and as of now it still has not gone away. I know that the food quality is checked regularly at Hyatt but I also know how I am feeling right now after eating the food, so please check on that restaurant or the dish and ensure it’s safe to eat. Tourists please be careful when going to that particular restaurant and especially ordering that ceviche. Other than this, our stay was pretty good.

This stay was so magnificent in so many ways that I don't even know where to start. Our family of 4 (including 2 college-aged young adults) came down from the winter cold in the build-up to Christmas for 5 nights (4 full days) of bliss in the sun. This was our maiden visit to the world of all-inclusive resorts, and I'm afraid now that the bar has been set exceedingly high! As part of our "club" room we were given access to a club lounge and provided our own concierge ("butler") for the entirety of the stay. The lounge was great and was usually our meet-up spot pre-dinner....we'd grab a quick drink and a bite to eat before deciding which restaurant to visit for dinner that night (sometimes there could be significant waits at restaurants, meaning 30-50 minutes....hence the quick bite to tide us over). And our concierge was absolutely amazing, providing a list of activities every morning via WhatsApp and in general helping sort out any kind of issue we might have had (there weren't many) and willing to help arrange extra activities. Gracias, Frandy! All the restaurants surprised us with their individual character, level of service and high quality (and variety) of food. We tried all of them on the Zilara side and were fortunate to visit The Blind Butcher on the Ziva side (the family Hyatt next door). I especially appreciated how the servings were not over-the-top in terms of quantity. If you were still hungry then nothing prevented you from simply ordering more (it's already paid for anyway, right?). The main pool was awesome.....we liked it more than the "club" pool. Everyone in our group particiapted in the Aqua Bike sessions at Noon daily and we also usually jumped into the Flash Mob dance routines spearheaded by the Activities staff at 3pm most days. The live music was usually outstanding and otherwise we appreciated the DJ Playlist whose tunes covered the area. The Reef Bar (both dry side and pool/swim-up side) provided tasty cocktails with a smile. Special shout-out to Ravel and Francisco behind the bar. Drink service was always good to the chairs as well. The beach was picturesque with soft white sand, beautiful palm trees and walking- friendly surf out for at least 200m. Nighttime entertainment while we were there varied from attending a Queen Tribute concert to watching college football in the Sports Bar......and from partaking in a Karaoke event to enjoying martinis at the One-Eyed Cat with a tremendous "piano man" getting everyone in the mood. The rooms themselves were spacious and relaxing. Our kids had a swim-up Jr. Suite which was a lot of fun for them. My wife and I enjoyed the best views in the place with an Ocean Front Jr. Suite (couple pics from balcony attached). I was fortunate enough to meet the Hotel Manager, Ms. Marlen, during my time there and I complimented her on the extremely high level of service her team delivers day-in and day-out. The training that her team has invested in is clearly evident and is part of what makes the overall experience so very incredible. We've told all our friends about the Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana and we hope to come back again one day soon ourselves.
