Amazing Staff and Hotel

I had the most wonderful time!!! The food is amazing and so is the ambiance. Unfortunately I could go to any of the hotel restaurants but I only heard good things. The staff is SUPERB, especially from desk reception Israel A. He accommodated us and made us feel like family. I will definitely come back again. Sincerely Sandra V 4174

Awesome Customer Service

We had a great time here. The resort is beautiful. The service is wonderful! We were in a unique room and our butler ANDRES GRAVIEL was the best!! Anything we needed, he was there and handling. Always checking on us to see if we were okay and happy. At the bar Julio Cesar , solanyhi Osana, dohaini, uriki, and jide - all great customer service and fun! Lannette Chavez

Lopesan Costa Bavaro: A Mixed Bag Our stay at the Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort Spa and Casino was a mixed experience. While the resort boasts stunning architecture and impeccable organization, a significant issue marred our enjoyment: the pervasive smell of mold. Exceptional Service: A Highlight One bright spot was the exceptional service provided by our butler, Johan Victorino. From the moment we arrived, Johan went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. His attentiveness and dedication to providing personalized service truly elevated our stay. Friendly Staff and Great Service Beyond Johan, the overall staff at the resort were friendly and helpful. Their commitment to excellent service contributed to a positive experience, despite the challenges we faced. A Stunning Resort with a Serious Flaw The resort itself is visually impressive, with high-end finishes and a well-organized layout. However, the pervasive mold issue was a major disappointment. The strong, unpleasant odor was particularly noticeable in our room, making it difficult to sleep. We were forced to keep the windows open, which compromised our comfort. It's concerning to think about the potential health risks, especially for individuals with respiratory issues. Food and Beverage: A Hit and Miss As with many all-inclusive resorts, the food quality can vary. While the food was generally decent, we did experience a bout of illness, which we suspect may have been related to a seafood dish at the French restaurant or a drink from the beach bar. The unique coconut drinks from the bar, however, were a delightful treat. A Promising Future Despite the mold issue, we would consider returning to the Lopesan Costa Bavaro in the future, particularly if steps are taken to address the problem. The resort's potential is undeniable, and with proper attention to detail, it could become an exceptional destination.

Very happy with our trip

My wife and I had an amazing time at Lopesan! There are so many options on the resort for food and daily entertainment, but also very relaxing. We booked the Unique package, so we had butler service. José was very attentive and checked in with us frequently, helping book reservations to the spa and answering any questions we had. The rooms were spacious and up-kept well and the views were great, but due to the climate, the rooms do get humid and the bed can feel damp. Overall, we’re very happy with our experience!

Awful food and Service

Our recent stay was an utter disaster, largely due to the appalling breakfast service. The breakfast buffet was an insult, offering low-quality food alongside incomprehensible and poorly written signage. Twice, my omelette inexplicably contained pork, despite my being a vegetarian and not ordering it – a truly unacceptable level of carelessness and disregard for dietary requirements. But the truly shocking aspect was the staff's behavior. We endured lengthy waits for everything – a seat, a highchair for our baby, even a simple glass of orange juice, requiring at least five requests to different staff members *every single day*. Their dismissive and unfriendly attitude made it clear that catering to guests was an unwelcome burden. The overall experience was not just disappointing; it was hostile, leaving us feeling unwelcome, stressed, and utterly disgusted. We are extremely disappointed and would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.
