We reserved the room 7 months prior with a rate in US dollars. When we checked in, Willie at the adults check in desk said the exchange rate between Pesos and the US dollar would be a difference of an addi...tional 10%. If we didn’t pay that extra 10% we couldn’t stay there. We had no choice as we are from the US and didn’t have a flight home for 10 days. We asked several guests at the hotel if they had the same problem and not 1 person had to pay extra. It was a scam and we will take the proper steps to figure it out so it doesn’t happen to others.

Absolutely beautiful resort, staff were incredible food was amazing lots of selection. My one recommendation would be to make restaurant reservations when you arrive. Shopping and activities on site, no ne...ed to go anywhere. Highly recommend.

This place exceeded my expectations. The customer service is unmatable. Our butler that was assigned with the unique package was Oliver de la Cruz and omg he was amazing. He always answered my calls and as...sisted us with anything that we needed. We fell in love in all the staff to the point that I was kind of sad to leave. These are some of the restaurant managers and bar staff that always assisted us and can't thank them enough! Book this place now! I love the environment, very welcoming and relaxing. Came here for a week with hubby to celebrate a few things. Although adults only is advertised, kids were welcomed as well but I think the resort was wel...l situated to accommodate couples and families. I thought it would be a nightmare with children being overly loud and disruptive but it was still a pleasant trip. The buffet area was open to everyone but the actual dining area was separate for couples vs families. I personally enjoyed the food, there was some variety with cultural dishes for lunch and dinner. Clean food set up and constantly replenished, the meats are cooked so well and the fried foods weren’t greasy. Everything was fresh and met my expectations. I didn’t see much seafood aside from some cocktail shrimp. There is a cafe called ‘Bavaro Coffee’ - nice!!! There are several pool areas throughout the resort, the beach is gorgeous, the resort is an amazing site at night because of the light set up, it’s a whole vibe trust me. People were getting married here, every single space throughout the resort whether indoors or outdoors is a picture worthy space. The hotel room is spacious, the staff is nice and does a great job with cleaning, the air conditioning is COLD so well had no problem. The activities were a little limited so if you are looking for great food and a beautiful place to relax this is it. I highly recommend this resort.

We book the Unique upgrade and had Isaury De los Santos from Butler service as our go to guy. We booked via a third party. This is important to mention because today there has been a whole host of reviews ...alleging over charging the bill at check out! This was not our experience! Everyone and everything was exceptional!
