Located beach front in the Uvero Alto Area of Punta Cana, Ocean El Faro is a new all suites resort is the newest addition to the Ocean Resorts family. Ocean El Faro - El Beso

Just finished our 2 week holiday in Ocean El Faro staying on El Beso side. Postives: - beds very comfy - lobby and piano bar is absolutely stunning -staff in restaurants you can book are friendly and efficient - Francis at the swim up pool bar in El Beso is brilliant! - Silent Disco, beach party and Magic show were highlights from the entertainment team - Blue Moon restaurant was our favourite meal - The drinks on offer are a great variety and good quality - the lazy river is brilliant and great staff who will pump up any floats you have too Negatives: - the pool on El Beso side wasn't cleaned properly the whole time we were there. You would see floating debri, bugs and scum from suncream floating round the edges of the pool - it took us 3 mini fridges swapped till we got one that worked in our room, but when we eventually got through and sorted it was good! - we had a bug infestation twice in our room where we had to get pest control in to fumigate and clean our room. Guest Services were eventually really helpful with this after we spoke to them in person rather than calling. - the service from staff in the main buffet (especially breakfast) and some restaurants is very poor and slow. We waited most mornings 15 minutes to get coffee or water from staff. Some times we had eaten our meal before even been served drinks. - the food in the main buffet and some places are cold regularly which is a shame as some of the food on offer sounds and looks good but is let down by being cold. All in all a great hotel with loads of positives and with improvements would be even better!
