4.5 out of 5 only because the Italian restaurant was not good, and the reservation I made for the steak house was removed without any notice due to a private event. Other than the two issues we had with t...he dinners, we loved everything else. Joel was our butler and did a great job of checking in on us and getting us what we needed. If you are visiting in the May time frame it’s seaweed season and the beaches are loaded with it. They did their best to remove the seaweed, they had a crew out there all day but it was just too much.

We visited the resort beginning of May. The staff was friendly and the food was good. Our room did smell a bit musty and the shower didn’t drain very well. The pool chairs were old and horribly uncomfort...able but the worst part was on Saturday. Apparently, they sell day passes to the locals and while that’s fine their behavior was not. They were eating hamburgers etc in the actual pool, playing vulgar music very loudly (louder than the resorts music) and had two hookahs IN the pool smoking. Remember, this is a kid friendly resort so these behaviors were NOT acceptable. It appeared the staff wasn’t able to get them to stop. VERY disappointing…I did let my travel agent who booked the trip for us about the experience and she said she will never book this resort again.
