I stayed at the adults only side of Serenade in October 2024 and returned to the family side in December 2024 with my 12 year old son. The adults side was so amazing and I wanted to try the family side. We had a swim out in room block 4 - directly across from the sports bar and close to the beach. The Good - the resort is close to the airport - only about 15-20 minutes. The shuttle will likely drop you first or second. - It feels safe there - at all times, even as a single mom travelling. - beds are really comfortable. - the beach is awesome and snorkeling was great. There is a small reef near the back seaweed barrier to watch all sorts of fish swimming - we even saw a baby sting-ray! - the water slides were never that busy and a lot of fun. - the food truck on the beach and sports bar were great and better quality food than anywhere else on the resort. - The staff who were ALWAYS great were the Security Guard Juan on the beach and Miguel from the food truck. The Not-So-Good - check in took 1.5 hours of waiting in the lobby as our room wasn't ready (check in is at 3pm and we arrived at 3:30pm) - frustrating and hot - the staff are hit and miss. Sometimes you feel as though you are welcome and sometimes you feel like they resent you. We tipped for every drink, housekeeping, mini bar, bell man, literally everyone all the time - but some staff made us feel unwelcome. - there are kids - EVERYWHERE - be prepared for screaming and crying and sloppiness throughout the resort. The resort is small and feels small when it is at full capacity like they were in December - the swim out room pool was quite dirty and needed to be cleaned more often - the beach vendors get exhausting - every single day at least 30 times a day you will get approached to buy excursions. - for a family resort - there is zero privacy in the rooms. The shower is see through into the rest of the room so we had to take turns waiting outside while the other person showered or got changed. I get that for a couples resort, but families needs more privacy. - the arcade was the most expensive arcade I have ever been to in my life - period. It was empty for that reason. - you can hear everything outside of your room - music from the beach, carts wheeling down the hallway, music from the pool, you can even hear full conversations of people walking around outside. There is no sleeping past 7am without earplugs and no way to sleep before 11pm either. SO LOUD. Overall - it was a great trip in spite of all of the little things that I noticed. It was only after I got home and reflected for purposes of this review and things I wish I had of known beforehand. I chose not to complain about it and we had a great time together.

The Batman chocolate on resort is the best Batman in the world. He makes my brother smile all the time and he brings good vibes and energy to everyone. 10/10 person. The restaurant is amazing with really good food and amazing workers and it’s very clean resort. Serenade punta cana

The Batman chocolate is the best animator person in the Island. Restaurant and bar is good service. ?? Room is clean, lobby is comfortable. Workers is smailing, very good alkohol and very clean pool. Beautiful beach and clen ocean ??????????

This resort did not meet my expectations. I was at the resort for my birthday week from December 5-11. Here are some of the pros and cons from my experience. Pros: Friendly barista at the Café by the name of Natalie, she was an absolute sweetheart. The coffee was very good, had 3 a day. The pools were not bad, the outdoor jacuzzis were the same temperature as the pools so I would not call it a jacuzzi. Every night they had some form of event for entertainment. Cons: I don’t even know where to begin. Let’s start with the buffet, the food was subpar. There were flies all over the food. The buffet hours were terrible, for instance breakfast ended at 10:30 and if you missed it you have to wait til 1pm for it to open back up for lunch. They had no other restaurants open to overlap the hours of the buffet being closed for 2.5 hours. Dinner reservations were limited, there were not many time slots open. Room service ended around 9 or 9:30 so make sure to get everything you need beforehand and prepare to wait at least over an hour. The salespeople who are trying to get you to book a massage at the spa or sell you an excursion along with packages to their adults only section will harass and follow you even after you politely decline. Same goes for the beach, people are constantly trying to sell you things every 5 minutes. It makes it difficult to relax and unwind, which is the whole reason I came to this resort. Speaking about the beach, I would not call it a beach. It’s more of a sand bar. The water is super shallow and most of it is seaweed. However, if you are willing to walk down for 40 minutes you'll find the best beach ever with no one around. The beds in the room were hard as a rock. My back was aching the whole time, I had to book a massage at the spa to relieve some of that tension. That lead me to believe that this was a tactic they use to make people book a massage. The pillows had an upleasant smell and felt like loofahs. They say it’s an all inclusive resort but that is not entirely true. They only allow you a couple of water bottles a day and only 2 beers a day for the mini fridge. So if you had a room like mine which was a suite with a jacuzzi that over looked the whole resort, you wouldn't be able to enjoy a drink. If you wanted more beer or any type of drink you had to go to the lobby and grab what you could. If you didn't want to go to the lobby, you would have to pay to get more drinks because room service wouldnt bring more than 2. At the buffet they only give one napkin per person. It took me 10 minutes to flag someone down for more napkins and they gave me 1. They are very cheap in this resort. What am I paying for if you are only limiting me to 2 beers a day and one napkin per meal. After all the built up frustration, I decided to speak to the manager Maximo. To be quite honest, it was like talking to a wall. He was very dismissive and quick to blame everything on me. He kept saying “well you are the one who booked this resort.” He took zero accountability for anything and everything was my fault. It was my fault there were flies on my food and my fault that the beach didn’t look like the pictures on their website. I brought up my concerns with the limited services they provided and he said it was their way of controlling things at the resort. I told him I wanted a refund for the rest of my stay and he refused. Ultimately he didn’t care, he had my money already and I was left no choice but to stay. If you are looking for all inclusive and I mean unlimited room service and unlimited beers to your room, please look elsewhere.

Serenade Punta cana, awesome resort, nice people. Chocolate superman is very nice, always smiling,?? very entertaining! Bar has very good service along with very good ??room service. Drinks are amazing! Pools are nice and always clean. Would definitely recommend!??
