Nice place to enjoy a week with friends. Everyday is fun in the sun. Either drinking, swimming, or just hanging around the beach or pool.

Probably the best resort in the Mexican Maya area. Skip Playa Del Carmen and go a little further south to Barcelo. If yu want to see Playa take a taxi there one day - it's all you will need. Barcelo has everything you need on the resort and 3 cenotes that you can walk to right across the street that are not so 'touristy'. I come to the Barcelo 2-times each year and plan to keep doing that. Food is very good, always something new to try. Evening entertainment is excellent. Grounds and resort in general are very well maintained.
