Valery was so great our whole stay! she was so helpful since the minute we checked in, she made our stay very enjoyable. :) the resort was beautiful and our room was always cleaned promptly! the pools and facilities were always clean as well and a surplus of amenities.
Highly recommend based on service and size!

Incredible service at this compact and well appointed property. We stayed here as a family of 4, also joined by a family member and her family of 4. All kids under the age of 7, with 2 under 3. Overall, I’m definitely recommending this resort to you, as chances are you are reading reviews because you’ve landed on this one as a potential candidate. Book it! I’m sharing my personal experience below in hopes it helps you select/validate if Dreams Aventuras is right for you. I couldn’t find many reviews from perspective of parents with young kids while also on vacation with another family with young kids. PROS - Property: located in a gated community and access to amenities ‘in town’ (aka the community) is very easy and safe. You can walk off the Dreams property or rent a golf cart. Fyi cart is offered via a 3rd party but the hotel concierge will coordinate it for you. We particularly enjoyed the size of property (small, which meant less walking and close proximity to all amenities and restaurants.) Tip: do the bicycle tour offered by the hotel entertainment staff; it’ll get you off the property to see whether or not it’s something you want to do again on your own time - Service: Hands down one of the best AI resorts we’ve been to. We were immediately greeted and pulled out of line as ‘preferred’ guests and had nothing but great service since check in. Overall, staff were extremely attentive, friendly, happy, courteous and helpful. Special thank you to servers Angel (oceana/beach night), Armado (preferred lounge), Hirai (head chef oceana) and the guy at concierge (I’m sorry I didnt get the name!) who helped make an incredible 8th birthday celebration for my daughter. (See image) Tip: if you book via expedia, you get added perks (like free preferred upgrade) Things we didn’t love: - Housekeeping was very hit and miss. Some days rooms were cleaned promptly and well, and some they missed cleaning it altogether. We had 2-3 occasions where the room wasnt cleared / cleaned until dinner time, which made it difficult to get the kids washed and changed before heading to dinner. One night we just assumed it wasnt getting cleaned since we had already left for dinner (6pm) but after getting back around 8 pm it was being cleaned. (A bit late in our experience at AI resorts) - Late night amenities: other than the disco/club (which was usually dead) there arent many options for indoor entertainment or activities post 11 pm. We didnt mind as this wasnt an objective of ours for this trip, but just a warning in case weather is bad and/or you’re looking for a party at night. Reco for hotel: pool table in desirees! - Beach: by no means was the beach bad, but there were areas that did not have much soft sand. Due to some (or all?) of the beach being man made, beachsand was more bare than we’ve had in other resort beaches, and also somewhat rocky. Eg beach volleyball court was hard; no way you could dive on it
