Active Advisories
Following American Hotel & Lodging Association's (AHLA) recent announcement of its "Safe Stay Guest Checklist"—and following medical expert guidance to help reduce the spread of COVID-19—all Hyatt hotels in the U.S. and Canada will require face coverings within indoor public areas beginning Monday, July 27, for the foreseeable future.
Public areas may include hotel lobbies, meetings and events spaces, restaurants and bars, and fitness centers. Some guests may be exempt from this mandate, including but not limited to guests with medical conditions, guests consuming food or beverages in restaurants, and children under the age of 2.

A welcoming stay in Japantown SFO

The room was spacious and the lobby has several comfortable sitting areas. The amenities in the room were more than adequate and the location is perfect. The complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby is a...lso nice. Would definitely stay here on our next visit to San Francisco.
Small rooms, mediocre breakfast.

The hotel is nice and clean though the rooms are on the small side. Their queen beds are not true queens, barely a full. As a globalist I get free breakfast at the buffet. It was my first time as a globa...list and i didn’t know that Hyatt pays 18% tip to servers as a part of my perk. Well i told the server I was a globalist and he kept saying that my breakfast was free but that tip wasn’t covered. He mentioned it multiple times. So i left a 18% tip. Which means he got a 32% tip. I learned the second day tip was covered. The breakfast is also just ok. Now that I’ve traveled as a globalist to several more properties since, I’d say theirs is mediocre.
