Vacation in Paradise

dem411 (St. Louis) on Nov 22, 2024

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. Let me start with the positives: the service is excellent, and the rooms are clean and spacious. The pool area is another highlight, featuring a swim-up bar, live music, and slides to keep the kids entertained. Now for the average: the food. While there’s plenty to eat, the selection is very limited. We’re accustomed to the variety offered at Mexican all-inclusive resorts, so this fell short. The main issue, however, is the beach. We’re beach lovers, and unfortunately, this resort doesn’t truly offer one. While there’s a sandy lounge area with chairs and umbrellas, getting to the actual sea is a hassle. You either have to navigate steep and dangerous rocks or leave the resort and access the beach via the street. There’s another route through a neighboring resort, but they have security to prevent non-guests from passing through. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or return myself due to the poor beach access. If this issue is ever resolved, it could be a nice place to stay.

Good value

Michelle D on Nov 21, 2024

Rooms were spacious and pool chairs were ample. Food was average to above average. However staffing levels seemed to be lower than necessary. Food and drinks took too long in many of the a la carte restaurants. Lack of evening activities was disappointing resulting in early nights to bed. Yoga with Tracy was the highlight of my trip.
