We travel to Vancouver every year or two, and this was the first time that we decided to stay at the Fairmont Pacific Rim. The background for the decision is that we were dining at the Botanist the last ti...me we were in Vancouver, and the stylish and elegant hotel lobby left a deep impression on us then. We booked the deluxe partial harbour view guestroom for 4 nights initially, and was fortunate enough to be offered an upgrade to the signature harbour view suite at a very attractive price. We took the upgrade for 2 nights and our only regret is that we didn’t take the upgrade for all 4 nights! The suite has stunning harbour and mountain views of Vancouver, was very clean and spacious, and was so accommodating and luxurious that we wished it was our second home away from home. The gym and spa facilities were top of the class as well, with the former being well-stocked with a wide variety of machines to meet just about every requirement of a fitness enthusiast like myself, and the latter being an extremely well-designed space where we both felt supremely relaxed and rejuvenated during the 3-hour spa access. If we had to nitpick on an ares for improvement, there was a slight snag with the turndown service on our last evening. Albeit, the hotel staff acted swiftly to rectify the situation once we flagged the issue, and was highly generous to offer some recompense for our troubles, which we very much appreciated. Otherwise, the hotel staff were in general very professional, competent, and warm with their service, certainly living up to the high standards that one would expect of the Fairmont brand. This is now officially our favourite 5-star hotel in Vancouver and we now truly understand why this property has been lauded with a multitude of accolades and awards.

Awesome stay at fairmont pacific rim. Upon arriving Travis greets us and helped with our luggages. Hana at checkin was super friendly and provided all the information of the hotel. The view of the room was... amazing over looking at the Disney wonder we just got off. The room has very nice and specious. The breakfast was very delicious and friendly server. Will recommend and come back next time when I’m back in Vancouver.

This is perhaps the best hotel that I've ever stayed at. The service was bar none and housekeeping even brought me bath salts to enjoy the luxurious bathtub. I was celebrating a special occasion and apprec...iated the artfully designed chocolates that were a gift from the hotel. The hotel had nightly live entertainment and a spacious, vibrant eating and bar area. I enjoyed the rooftop heated swimming pool and was able to swim laps in the evening. The waterfront location allowed me to easily access the seawall trail when I wasn't busy in meetings. Stanley Park is beautiful and I saw a whale at sunset by Third Beach. The concierge was very knowledgeable and provided tips to stay safe when venturing out of the immediate area. The hotel is in an upscale area but there are surrounding areas plagued with homelessness, filth, and crime.

I came to Vancouver to get my Canadian passport renewed and the Pac Rim Fairmont is very close to the passport office in Sinclair Center. The views from our room are stunning! Additionally, the staff are d...elightful. We plan to come back again soon and highly recommend this hotel.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make sure our whole family — especially our toddler — felt welcome and cared... for. Special thanks to the Botanist team, especially the two female maitre d’s, who were incredibly warm and accommodating, making each meal a delight even with a little one in tow. Patrick at valet greeted us with genuine warmth every time, making arrivals and departures seamless. The concierge team impressed us with their thoughtful, spot-on restaurant recommendations, steering us toward fantastic dining experiences throughout the city. The grounds and facilities were absolutely impeccable — from the beautiful lobby to the perfectly maintained public spaces. We also thoroughly enjoyed our time in the lobby lounge, where the staff excelled not just in service but in crafting truly exceptional drinks. Fairmont Pacific Rim delivered a world-class luxury experience with an impressive human touch, making it a standout choice for both couples and families. We can’t wait to return.
