Typical city hotel situated opposite to main sports stadium – no event there during our stay so it was a very quiet location. Central location, so easy to tour the main sights of the city and close to the ferry stops to go to Granville Island (go early to avoid the crowds). Nice quiet room with good amenities and comfortable bed. The hotel was very busy, so the lift service could be slow, but that’s a minor point. Didn’t use the dining room facilities as found an excellent café around the corner serving a lovely breakfast bagel. Nice décor throughout and helpful staff at reception. Good wheelchair access for our friend.

We really enjoyed this hotel. We had a suite with a living room area with a table and 4 chairs separate from the bedroom. It had a lot of perks- bathrobe and slippers, a fancy coffee maker, etc. The Italian restaurant downstairs is excellent, and all of the staff there and at the hotel itself are very personable and helpful. It's old-world charm with all the comforts of home.

Had four nights at The Georgian, room was good, very clean with all the amenities (shampoo etc are excellent!) Can get busy in the lobby but staff are helpful. The attached Frankies as many others have said is very convenient. Eggs Benedict are superb! Great location, I would definitely stay there again. As others have said, the hall carpet needs replacement, it’s very rucked and a tripping hazard, so they need to sort that very quickly.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful spacious rooms, and impeccable service. Just wish we had longer to stay!!! Great location close to airport and downtown and tons of restaurants. We are at the Italian restaurant at the hotel and -oh my goodness-amazing! I wish I could give them a higher rating than 5 stars! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Well, it was an event my daughter and I were sharing and we wanted it to be special so I splurged on a fancy Hotel. After research your hotel, I chose to be on the Orchid floor. At the time of reserving I also asked for an early check in. I was told that I needed to do that on the day of arrival. Day of arrival comes, I'm travelling down from Kamloops. I called at 9:30 am to make my request. I was told I was first on the early check in list. My daughter and I walked into the hotel at 2:45 - 3pm and were told our room was not ready? First issue. Then I was asked to pay for another $75.00 deposit for incidentals, I asked what that was for and I was given not much of an answer, I was not aware of that additional charge. Issue # 2. The Lady at the front desk goes on to say that we could have an ordinary room and I responded that I wanted to little female extras the Orchid floor rooms provided ( Magazines, Hair tools etc.) I was told that we could still have that in the ordinary room. I was not pleased because I still think that the price I was quoted and paid for was for the Orchid room. Issue # 3, anyway, we went out for a walk and as we were leaving my daughter stopped at the front desk to inquire about the extras and she was told they were on there way up to our room. When we came back there was nothing brought in other than a small box of tampons and sanitary pads??? ISSUE # 4. Your beds were like lying on concrete, we were both incredibly sore Friday morning when we woke. Not at all happy about this experience. I'm not the type to usually leave reviews, but in this case I felt compelled to.
