My husband and I come here for our Anniversary every year! This place is amazing! We just will not go anywhere else

We were quite disappointed with the stay here and all of Cuba. We had heard that the food wasn't anything special in Cuba, but I would go as far as to say it was inedible. The meat was mystery meat, the vegeatbles were just canned and soggy and the fruit was limited with only two different types. We tried the al la carte, but there are only 2 alternating ones open per night and you have to line up for over a half hour to be able to get a reservation. Even at the al la carte restaurants, the food was not great. We talked to another couple and they were counting down the days till they could go home because the food was that bad. The entertainment was also a let down. There was never any pool entertainment and we watched a show at night but it was also not good. The schedule they have up about show times etc is not accurate, so it was very hard to know what was going on and when. The drinks were also terrible. They do not have carbonation and all other drinks are just made with excessive amounts of syrup. We found the staff not to be very helpful and did the bare minimum to make our stay pleasant. We ran out of toilet paper and we called to ask for more and didn't receive any till the next day. A few positives we found were: The room we had was clean The beach was very beautiful The coffee bar was nice Papito bar was the only place that served good Pina Coladas.

If you're wondering if to book your stay here or even have a wedding here... the answer is yes! We just had our Destination Wedding here, a little out of the ordinary but we have no regrets. It was amazing!!! 40 of our friends and family flew to Cuba with us and stayed at this resort, most of us stayed an entire week and we all had an amazing time! I made the decision to have my wedding here one year ago and had been in contact with Claudia (wedding planner) the entire time. She answered all questions, clarified any concerns and reassured me. She listened to all of my ideas and went above and beyond to make it happen. There was nothing that she could not do. She's the best!! The event exceeded all of our expectations...from decor...to food to music. It was the PERFECT day. She handled everything and I just had to relax and get ready. She even made it look easy which I know it wasn't. My husband and I stayed at the level whilst the rest of the wedding party did the regular rooms. And they were all great. A few of the rooms were a bit outdated but it was evident that they were in the process of renovating. The 4th floor rooms were already renovated and they looked brand new. But everything was clean and spotless. Housekeeping passed daily to change towels, make the beds and check to see if you needed anything. Special thank you to Ali and Yanelsy (from the level housekeeping) for always checking in and also providing that extra touch with rose petals after the wedding. Lots of food options at the buffet although the restaurant dinners were better (taste wise) . If you're a dessert person, you'll be in heaven here. The 24 hour cafeteria and bar were a great idea because we loved it, I just think that the cafeteria needed more food options after midnight. Also attended a Friday night beach party hosted by the hotel and needless to say we had a blast!

Hotel is undergoing reconstruction, but we didn’t even notice it. Our room was very clean and nice and freshly reconstructed. Beach and sea was beautiful, also bar and food was nice. We had great time during our tennis lessons which we had almost every day. Julio is really great couch, nice person, it was a good game. I recommend his couching for everyone who wants to play tennis. Vacation was really lovely, nothing to complain about :)

The people there are amazing so friendly so kind, helpful… the entertainment is so good the kids loved it. We made connections with a lot of amazing staff. I would come back in a heartbeat. Food was great lots of different things to try. Kids said the ice cream is the best they had. There is always something to do for the whole family
