Fabulous stay, hotel conveniently located in the harbour. Staff extremely welcoming and friendly and acknowledged that we were celebrating a special occasion that our travel company had informed them of (not us). The Hotel gifted us desserts in their Fathom restaurant and they were delicious. The room was a little tired but clean and very comfortable, the bed, pillows and linen superb. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel itself looks impressive with a nice grand exterior and reception area. It was easy to pull up out front to unload bags. The hotel’s location cannot be beaten, both close to the harbour and walking distance to great shops and restaurants. It was easy to get to by car. Parking is extra per day but worth it for the convenience and location and we elected to pay a few extra dollars for the valet service, which made it even easier. We stayed in the city view suite with 2 queen beds, which was perfect for our family of 4, including 2 young children. The suite had the original decor as opposed to the refurbished side of the hotel but did not look that dated and was very spacious and clean with a large bathroom and sitting area. As the room was large, it had views of both the city (overlooking the lovely parliament building) and the harbour with 2 balconies. The AC worked well although not really needed when we stayed. Everyone at the hotel from the valets, reception staff and cleaners were very welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. Our kids also loved the impressive swimming pool, which had a dedicated kids pool and hot tub as well as a sauna. Overall we had an excellent stay. Thoroughly recommended for families with young kids.

Hotel Grand Pacific was exceptional. From the receptionists, valets to the facilities, my family and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. I was able to get my parents a room with a walk in shower and amenities that catered to their (senior citizen) needs. The receptionsists were polite, thorough, efficient and super engaging. I loved our rooms, and the historical character of the hotel, yet with a touch of modernity. All the staff were wonderful. I also appreciated the extra check out time (for Preferred members) and being able to store our luggage while we finished our last few hours of sightseeing before leaving Victoria. We spent one night.. but we definitely want to come back and spend more time at Hotel Grand Pacific and Victoria, Canada. Thank you!

This is a beautiful hotel and much more affordable than the other grand hotel in town. The front desk staff was lovely (special thanks to Summer at the front desk who was so kind to us). The room was perfectly clean and quiet even with a wedding happening downstairs- no hint of it upstairs. Great city and waterfront view. We also took advantage of the new pool. The hotel was in walking distance to all the shopping and tons of restaurants. Highly recommend! Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Pacific. Our room was cozy and had a balcony with a view of the harbor. Super comfy beds. The hotel staff was kind, helpful, and fun to talk to. The location is perfect and walking distance to all kinds of restaurants and activities. We will be back!
