Nice property and very friendly staff. Casino a little small but your there for the beach and relaxing more than the casino. Orher things like catamaran, jet ski, jeep tours, glass making, aloe company tou...r makes for many things to do. Had a great time.
Great experience at the Hyatt Regency Aruba

Location of the hotel is great with plenty of restaurant options and shops, nearby. Staff at the reception and concierge were very kind and efficient. Rooms were well equipped and just as shown in the phot...os. Breakfast was amazing, also with very friendly staff. You need to book lounge chairs for the pool, in advance - that's not ideal, as you don't want to plan everything you do when you are on vacation. Lounge chairs and palapas at the beach also need reservation, but that's ok - we went there on shoulder season and there were always some available. Restaurants at the hotel were great. Overall, very good experience at the Hyatt Regency Aruba
Beautiful resort, could be cleaner

My family stayed at Hyatt Regency Aruba for 4 nights and for the most part, we enjoyed it. While in line to check in, we were greeted by complimentary champagne and chocolates. It was a nice surprise since... I mostly expect that at an all-inclusive resort. Shout out to Xiomara at the front desk for the smooth check in and for explaining the resort in detail. PARKING: $20 valet or free parking at the lot across the street. REGENCY CLUB: I’d say that the most beneficial thing during this stay was access to the club where we had daily breakfast and hor deourves from 5pm to 7pm. It had 2 coffee/espresso machines, fridge for canned sodas and beers, and wines. It had an outdoor patio and lots of seating inside. I’d love to give a big shout to Rowena, Xiara, and Jacquelin for the wonderful hospitality throughout our stay. I was very thankful that they helped us out in celebrating my mom’s 60th birthday with a beautiful small cake and a phenomenal Happy Birthday song with maracas and all. Shout out to Meraris, Luisa, and Philemon for joining the party! POOL/BEACH: The resort had a few different pools including an adults only section with an infinity pool, a swim up bar located in the same pool where the water slide ends, and another smaller pool where mostly kids played in. The adults only pool was where we stayed the most. Many, many people wake up at 6am to reserve chairs on both the pools and the beach so **tip for you all** to plan accordingly. We would go to the pool in the early afternoon and thankfully by then, we were able to snag a few chairs. Floaties not allowed in the adult pool. -The beaches all over Aruba are all public so you’ll see non-hotel guests too. With the palapas at the beach, we were able to reserve them early enough. -Cabanas by the pool range from $75 to $450. RESTAURANTS: Truthfully, we didn’t try too many of the restaurants at the resort since we wanted to eat outside of the hotel for higher rated restaurants. The prices were similar to LA/Southern California pricing. GYM: The larger room has all the cardio machines plus the lifting machines. There’s a separate smaller room across the hallway that has all the dumbbells and bench presses (we didn’t see this at first so make sure to pay attention). I mostly used the outdoor turf to do my own workouts but be careful** since I saw some broken glass by the end of the turf. CONS: Upon arrival to our room, we saw that there was a whole drawer under the TV that had leftover baby food and juices wrapped in a plastic bag. This tells me that they don’t clean the rooms very well. -Our room was pool view on the 5th floor. During our first night, there was live music playing at the bar which we loved! But the music continued past 11pm. -Very thin walls/doors as you can hear people talking in the hallways and next door. OVERALL: It was a decent hotel and truthfully, it was not the most impressive Hyatt resort that I’ve stayed at, especially for the price of the stay. While they had a beautiful resort with the pools, the wildlife, the trees, and all, they could have done a better job with the cleanliness of the rooms.
Fantastic vacation

We had a fantastic vacation here! Gavin was very welcoming at check-in, acknowledged our Globalist status and offered us champagne, chocolates and waters right away. After a long flight from Cali, we we...re grateful to be upgraded to a spacious sunset waterfront suite. The view is just GORGEOUS. WiFi is fast, shower pressure strong, amenities filled to the brim. We also got cocktail vouchers and casino free play. We went to the Regency Club for breakfast and happy hour each day. The ladies serve with a smile and we enjoyed the variety and drink options. We also “donate” to the casino nightly and enjoy the live music. The resort is beautiful, very clean, there is only 1 slide, multiple food outlets and hundreds of koi fish. It reminded me of (a mini) Grand Hyatt Kauai! The adult pool is great, food/drink service can be faster…. Guests line up as early as 6am to reserve front row palapa and umbrellas. We were fine on the 4th row, Gio is wonderful setting up our loungers and making afternoon bingo super fun! The location of the hotel is fantastic, we felt safe the whole time, there are restaurants, bars, shops walking distance. The boat tours take off in front of the hotel. We rented a car (highly recommended), hotel has free self parking. Airport is 25 mins away. We told the Regency Club ladies we were there for my sister’s 60th bday and on our last day they surprised us with a good size cake and joyful singing complete with Filimon’s mini-bongo. We had an enjoyable time and want to thank staff who stood out: Ligia, Jacqueline, Meraria, Filimon (lounge), Gavin (front desk), Gio (palapa). We’ll be happy to return to this resort!
