We stayed at the Hilton Barbados Resort for 3 weeks and had a great time. The location of the hotel is second to none and offers great sea views. The hotel has its own beach with free to use sun beds and parasols and an area to play sports including volleyball. The hotel has two great pools and an outdoor jacuzzi, a gym and various areas to relax and enjoy the sunshine. There are 4 restaurants with a wide variety of food and drinks, our kids loved the pizzas at the pool bar! The breakfast was great and offers lots of options, catering for every one including those with gluten free needs. Our waitress Lisa greeted us with a smile every morning which was lovely. The hotel concierge Rodney was very professional and a very composed gentleman, always helpful and very knowledgeable. Rodney assisted us in multiple occasions with restaurants bookings, transportation and giving us useful advice. Tracey-Ann from the house keeping team was very attentive and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed in our room. The rooms were very cleaned and we had a fantastic view of the sea. One of us was unwell during our stay and we had to visit the hospital in the middle of the night, the hotel night manager was very good and organized the ambulance and made sure the kids were well looked after during our absence. The hotel has its own affiliated water sport club called “Barbados Blue” were you can borrow snorkeling equipment, paddle boards and other water equipment free of charge. We dealt with Kira most of the time and she was great and help us book lots of additional activities including boat trips, swimming with turtles and scuba diving. We even went to see some of the pirate ship wrecks! There are certainly lots and lots of water activities to do here, on a Thrusday morning you can go to pebbles beach next to the hotel and see the horses being bath, you can even help them and walk the horses if you want…. My kids loved this. During our stay we also have the opportunity to meet some of the management team including the General Manage who was very accommodating and gave us an historic overview of the hotel. We also meet Alison who was so so lovely and has a great sense of humor.?? We had a great family holiday and made some amazing memories. Thank you Hilton Barbados Resort. We were originally booked to stay for 10 days but ended up spending for over a month in the hotel due to a serious medical emergency. The staff could not of been more helpful and friendly during our stay, they checked for updates every day and helped us to extend our stay without any fuss. The food was amazing, we got to try nearly everything at all the restaurants and were not disappointed once. We will definitely return to enjoy an actual vacation soon and I look forward to seeing everyone in the hotel again.

This hotel is a little rough around the edges. Could use a good facelift so have low expectations for it feeling like a top-notch resort. That said everyone there was beyond friendly. The rooms were clean and recently updated although not at a very high caliber, you will get what you pay for, there’s a lot of potential for this hotel but they have not met it yet. The beach was covered in seaweed. It looks nothing like the photos that said they did rake areas of it and we were able to sit out on the beach and swim I recommend going to Karl Beach next to the hotel. If you want to spend a day on the beach, you have to pay rent beach chairs, and umbrella there .

Great stay. Wonderful location, the employees are super nice, energetic and helpful. Our room had a great view of the ocean. Currently seaweed is coming on the beach in spots. But there are plenty of spots to swim that doesn’t have it. Great pools and plenty of chairs no matter what time of day you decide to take a dip.

The Hilton is in dire need of better maintenance and quality control. You can tell most of the staff are trying but some are not. I interacted with a lady from housekeeping with a visible piercing in her bottom lip and she was obnoxious. The booking itself had several errors even within my short stay and the overall experience did not match the price paid. The elevators are dirty, the door leading to the rooms is broken, the bathroom needs serious attention from a professional, the walls are patched up with putty and the moldy roof of the room had a visible crack.
