Nice Location, Dated Building, Tricky Check-In

Great location! While the facilities were a bit dated and the building itself showed its age, the beach and nearby shops were easy to access and very convenient. The check-in process could definitely be im...proved—there was no clear signage or instructions, and it wasn’t immediately obvious that it was self-serve. We only found out after someone passing by mentioned the key box on the wall, but the code we were given didn’t work. It took a few calls before staff understood the issue and helped us gain access. The bed was quite firm and not the most comfortable, but overall, the stay was okay with no major issues.

Though I had read that this hotel was dated, I think those reviews were being overly critical. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the air conditioning perfect and much appreciated. The size of the room... was sufficient for us as a couple and cosy unlike some hotels where I stayed, the size of the room for a couple has been ridiculous. All of the staff were wonderfully friendly. The trip itself wasn't as enjoyable as it should have been, our stay at this hotel provided the friendliness, feeling of safety and comfort that we appreciated. Thank you.
