Beautiful location and wonderful staff made this visit amazing!

Pino6K (Sierra Vista, Arizona) on May 09, 2025

The resort is beautiful. This was me and my wife’s first visit to Hawaii. Our room was literally steps from the ocean and short walk to Wailea Beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The lua...u we attended was great and the food was amazing. Again the staff was incredibly accommodating and there was never a boring moment. I would love to be able to visit here again!

Perfect resort!

Sandra M on Apr 15, 2025

The views are extraordinary, the staff is beyond hospitable, and the beds are so comfortable! We were very happy with our stay! We were able to see whales and swim with turtles right off the beach there. ...The grounds are beautifully kept! We also loved the visiting local artists who displayed their work.

Outstanding Guest Experience....

georgemK9517OU (North Port, Florida) on Apr 14, 2025

Our 10th experience at Wailea Beach Resort was best ever! We stayed 12 nights, were upgraded to Premium King Ocean View and once again experienced a "superb guest experience" with each and every associat...e of this resort. Wailea Beach Resort, Wailea, Maui location is "super premium"; adult infinity pool is awesome place for watching February whales. There are a multitude of upscale restaurants--all easy uber or even just walking along beach walk. Special "shout out to Front Desk Management Myriam Tehina and General Manager Doug Pill. Each took steps to foster an incredible stay, based on our loyalty and frequency at this location. Do not hesitate to secure a reservation at this fantastic spot. {Note: we have visited Maui +27 times, stayed at every major resort in Wailea and Kaanapali. This is truly the best, if your are looking for peace, tranquility and real touch of class!]. We are coming back in February 2027 (already on our calendar) to celebrate our 50th Anniversary!

Terrible room in need of repair

Kimberly G (Delaware) on Apr 12, 2025

This was our fourth stay at this hotel, this time was with a group for a business incentive trip. Unfortunately , after this trip I wouldn’t stay here again. For the cost of this hotel it was extremely dis...appointing. We didn’t get to choose our room for this trip, but no one should be given a room like the one we had. We had been assigned a garden view room, but It was a parking lot view, with a toilet that didn’t flush, a large kicked in hold to the bathroom door and overall in disrepair. We have stayed here in the past in premium sundeck suites and premium ocean-view suites. As a Bonvoy member I think it’s quite embarrassing to be given a room like this. Along with our room there a lot of construction happening around the property. Jackhammers at the pool were not very peaceful. The hotel has a great location and beautiful views, lovely pool staff at the adult pool. Dining is okay, we opted to eat elsewhere, as none of the restaurants seemed worth it. I’d definitely recommend another spot on Wailea.

Overall good stay

Nina T (Indianapolis, Indiana) on Apr 12, 2025

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. Pros: *The property was in a great location in Wailea. *Our kids loved the Nalu pool with the slides. *The game room and outdoor play area was a nice touch for kids. ...*We loved that there was a Starbucks on property. Cons: *Pillows were not that great. *Housekeeping did not refill our lotion container when it was out. *My daughter was right at 48" (maybe a smidge under)--she was able to do the big slides the first two days, and then the next day a lifeguard told us "I'm telling you she's not doing them today" in a rude tone. *I called right at 7am on checkout day to ask for late checkout and they told me yes, extended to 1pm; went to the front desk to update our room key and they told us that we did not have late checkout? Very awkward, since my whole family heard the phone call...they granted it, but the front desk staff needs to do better with communication. *This hotel does not have a beachfront; you have a good walk to the beach (left or right of hotel)--not the end of the world, but with little kids be aware! *It was a bummer that their acai bowls that we ordered at the pool were frozen from Sambazon...for $18, I expect fresh and homemade!
