Worst Hotel Ever

sharonsP8690SJ (San Francisco, United States) on May 03, 2025

I have never written a review, but had to share this to help others avoid this mistake. We had stayed at Harrah’s Las Vegas 4 years ago and enjoyed it, so I brought my husband here for his birthday. What a... disappointment. An empty “minibar” tray on the desk, no fridge, a coffee maker with no coffee, 1 small bar of soap in the bathroom. I thought it was a mistake and that we had been assigned a room that was being renovated or something. But when I called the desk I was told that those amenities were only for suites. I paid $20/day for a fridge but declined to spend $20 just for the privilege of having them fill the “minibar” with snacks I could buy. We would have checked out, but I booked through Bookings.com so that makes it more complicated. Anyway, we’re only here for 2 nights, so we’re just laughing at the hole in the bed cover and fewer amenities than you would get at Motel-6. ?? We will NEVER stay here again.

Not what I expected...

Booked a partial view of the strip. The room overlooked the ventilation system and there was a loud humming. Went to the front desk and had to pay extra for a different room. Housekeeping didn't visit the ...room the 1st 3 days. Ended up calling to get more towels and they didn't take the bag of dirty towels for another 2 days. The mirror started peeling back and you could tell the vents in the room were dirty. Now for the good things. Beautiful view (in the 2nd room), the room is updated with a very comfortable bed.

The worst experience at Harrah's

Matthew M on May 01, 2025

As a 7-star VIP member, I expected Harrah's Hotel and Casino to be a great place to relax, but my experiences have been disappointing. The rooms are not clean, and the housekeeping service leaves much to... be desired. The casino floor is uncomfortably warm, and they recently shut down the restrooms, which is really inconvenient! Yes, you heard that right—they closed the restrooms!!! Why do they close the restrooms?!

Just ok

Location is their forte.... and that's about it. We were there for the Donny show, which we enjoyed, however, the venue felt "old" and drink service totally lacking - it seemed they were short staffed, ONE... server for the whole venue on a Saturday! Also, would like to know that the "Resort Fee" covers! It feels like hotels are nickel & diming" guests for everything. Early check-in fee... pool side lounges fee... parking fee... room amenities (here was a Kurig, no other supplies) !!! Had to to ask for a roll of t-paper. Very disappointing stay. I rated it average, as there was nothing great, but nothing horrible either - we had a bed and shower.

4pm check in

annyong1 (Chicago, Illinois) on Apr 30, 2025

The valley room, that i paid a $15 upgrade for since it was all that was ready at 3:15, was a nice room. Clean and spacious. A/C seemed to work well, however it wasnt hot out so can't say for sure. Howeve...r, the fees ruin the experience. It's just constantly being hit by something, the most egregious now being the 4pm check-in (resort fees are already a scam so this is something new). If you want to get in at 3:15, that's another $25. Check out is 11. Want to stay past 11? that's another fee. From what i could see at the pool, most seats are for a fee unless you sit far from the pool at face a wall. The whole thing feels wrong.
