An unexpected gem

Before visiting the Virgin, I was a little apprehensive as the reviews were incredibly mixed; however, to say I was surprised was an understatement. This hotel is located about a mile off strip, which, in the summer heat, is not walkable - we did try! The price was very reasonable and we were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a Ruby Tower King Chamber Suite - it was huge. Shout-out to Oscar for sorting this out for us! All of the facilities here are 5* and the pool was never busy enough so you weren't able to get a lounger. The casino was good although never busy. I firmly believe this is an underrated hotel as we stayed at the Aria for the second leg of our trip; the Virgin was so much better! We booked via Virgin Holidays and because of this, we didn't have to pay the resort fees. All in all, an amazing stay, we will be back. Thanks Virgin!

Excellent hotel and managed to bag an upgrade. This hotel is not on the strip and you will need to rely on the taxi service which is very good. I wouldn’t recommend the resort taxi as they charge over the odds for a ride which is half the price. If we are back in Las Vegas, this would be my hotel of choice, especially with children.
