Worst Hilton Experience!

Our stay at the Resort World might have been the worst ever at a Hilton property. It started that I didn't get my Hilton points as a member, because it was a 3rd party booking We had to wait to check into our room (granted, we were early). They offered a room for an up-charge. Thanks, but no thanks. The $ 50+ resort fee was plenty for a pool that closes at 8 pm and charges extra to go to the infinity pool. But wait. There is more! Getting into the room required us to throw a shoulder against the door, because it stuck and was very hard to open. After we finally were able to enter, we found a used condom on the floor. Very disturbing. We were gone all day on day 2 and to our surprise upon return around 7 pm, no house keeping was done. Towels on the floor, trash not emptied, bed not made. Disappointing! And no pool time because it closed right after we got there. The light bulb on one of the lamps was flickering and should have been replaced. And oh....knocking at 10 pm at the door, wondering if we want housekeeping. No! We were in bed. Testing because we were on Eastern time and had had a busy day in Vegas. To top it all off, the front desk attendiant whom we told all this at check-out was very nonchalont about it, when entering it in the computer. It seemed like she is used to complaints. We have not heard from the hotel. Needless to say, no more stays there for us. Sorry Hilton, you should do better.

I was here for work so I can’t comment on the price because my job paid for it. The room was very clean and quiet. I was on the 33rd floor and had a nice view of the strip. The bed was comfortable. Shower pressure was great. There are a lot of food options in the hotel and all will deliver to your room using GrubHub. You are at the north end of the strip so you’re kind of far away from a lot of the action. But I enjoyed my stay completely.
