Wish we had stayed somewhere else
Cucques (Sydney) on Nov 17, 2024
This was probably one of our least favourite places to stay during our 3 week trip to the US. Pretty tired looking. Restaurants were not appealing. Very smoky walking through the lobby to the lifts to get up to our room. Long queue to check in. Convenient though that one of Cirque du Soleil’s shows was just in the theatre downstairs - that was all that it had going for it for us. They charged a ‘resort fee’ even though the pool was closed and we had no intention of using their fax machine. We booked through an online site which said that our rate covered all fees and taxes etc.
Pleasantly surprised; love the free parking:)

We were just here for one night, and weren’t sure what to expect as we had never stayed here before. very pleasantly surprised with the room. They actually still have the small bottles of shampoo, etc., two luggage racks, and a lighted make up mirror. Best part is they do not charge for parking; the only place left on the strip that doesn’t! Very convenient to see an event at the Sphere.
