A truly special place!

This was our 3rd trip to GHK, and we are in love with this resort. We love the pools, and we love the grounds, but we especially love the staff. From the moment you arrive at the front drive, you can feel ...the genuine care from every staff member you interact with. There are too many names to mention, but we would like to highlight a few. Bobby, The Rooms Director, reached out before our arrival and really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience! Alexis, Anna, and Cindi at the Grand Club were amazing! They were fabulous with my 7 month old son and made us feel so welcome. They immediately remembered us the first night we arrived from the prior year, and that made us feel really special! Mark and Glenn at Captain's bar were also incredible. They also remembered us from prior year's and welcomed us back with open arms. Great drinks and great fish tacos at the bar as well. Kyra was our Cabana server for the day and was also awesome. She, too, was great with our son! Our Bellman, KAO, I believe, was his name was wonderful as well. Thank you, GHK, for the wonderful experience. We'll be back soon! The Coffey's
Great Resort All Around

Love this resort. Everything about it exceeded my expectations. The people that work here were wonderful to my family and Is. The pools were incredible. And we loved our room. Nightly music in the lobby at... Sea View Terrace was the perfect way to end the evening. Tidepools and Stephenson’s Library were both excellent. The retail vendors that the hotel brought in were brilliant (especially the doll dresses). Whoever Hyatt has running this hotel should be congratulated.
Beautiful, large property

An outstanding property! Just way, way too big. Excellent staff, the food and drink is all very good. Such a long hike to the outer rooms. 5 minute walk.,... The shops are very nice and other than the woo...d artist shop, you can buy reasonably. The valets are excellent and the bell hops are also excellent. They name it clear you need not tip the bells, but they are so great that you should
Great family trip-gorgeous grounds, but not a beach sitting resort

Great family trip. This was our second time here. First was our honeymoon! Kids really enjoyed the water slide, pool, and lagoon. You can’t really swim on the beach, and there are no chairs provided. So if... you want a beach, this may be not be the resort for you. Pool food service was wonderful. Stephenson’s library is awesome and has a great bar. You need reservations though. The terrace restaurant wasn’t very good, but it’s a pretty setting for a drink. Breakfast buffet was always good. We wished there was one more causal spot that didn’t require a reservation. Tidepools is beautiful, great bar, and food was pretty good. They used to have a great Italian restaurant, but it’s gone now. There are two awesome hikes/walks in both directions from the hotel that we did a lot. Area is nice and lots of cute shopping and places to eat off site. Our room has a beautiful ocean view, but we were the absolute furthest room from the lobby. So it may be worth asking about room location if you have small kids or people w mobility issues. Gym was great and had good classes and a lovely shop. Overall, a wonderful trip!
Never again. Ants were even in my bed.

Location: Nice part of the island. Easy walk to spend time with the turtles at Poipu. Bedroom: Nice room. Until you realize there are ants all over the balcony and your nightstand and on the bed and behin...d the TV and in the bathroom. Bathroom: Huge fan of the bidet. Shower: Water leaked out of the shower. Pros: Appreciate extra towels outside each room. Nice variety of wildlife. Beautiful grounds. Good variety of pools. Cons: Told the front desk about ants x2. Nothing noticeable was done. No change of rooms offered. Head to sleep with lights on just to keep on lookout for ants!
