Nice location but aggressive sales team

There’s definitely some pros/cons to staying here. The pros: 1) the location is gorgeous 2) the rooms are clean 3) nice pool and beach and 4) staff is friendly. The cons: 1) the food is indeed awful. To be more specific, I had room service and the salmon smelled spoiled. Went to the Italian restaurant and the food was very salty. Ate near the pool and the chicken and fish tacos were dry. The breakfast buffet is your best option. 2) the sales team is aggressive- they want you to sit for an unlimited membership; the reviews for this membership/timeshare are bad. Don’t fall for it. This is more like a 4 star hotel while charging 5 star prices. And I would not return.

We come here every fall. You really can't beat the location on the marina and swimmable beach. They've upped their game on their food. Big improvement. Special thanks to head chef Victor. Also the chef Fernando at Bites cafe and Ivan our server was outstanding. Greated us with a big smile everyday. Flavio at Ocote was amazing as well. You can never have a bad time when Erby is bartending at Wink bar. All staff were great. Fun was had and we'll be back next year. Special thanks to Oscar and Tracy with UVC
