This hotel apparently was hacked as said by employees and in other hotels. My credit card was hacked and when we arrive, no Wi-Fi at all. The worst is that we never received an apology from management. No word or presence with guests to explain. We had to use roaming services and it cost us much more money to spend. Our stay was from Dec. 16-25th and we left on the 20th. No refund offered at all, no apologies. I have to say that staff were the most nicest people, especially Patricia, Javier, Santiago and the hostesses Liliana in the Italian restaurant. They made our stay a 5 star experience. Another nice thing in the hotel are the toiletries, very nice. I am rating this hotel low because of management and the fact that no refund of the 5 nights we did not stay have been offered. For us having internet connection was fundamental

Villa del Palmar has been wonderful. At the door Efrain was welcoming and attentive, Edgar brought our bags to the room and was very gentle and a very kind soul. Once we hit the 18+ pool, Carlos Castillo took care of us our entire vacation, he was the man. Very kind, respectful, and overall a wonderful guy. Down by the Beach Omar took great care of us and was an extremely hard worker. Alberto was around every day to anwser every question and concern. With my Grandfather being a Palmar member for over 20+ years it is nice to see the same faces around! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to get away and enjoy a friendly time and days in paradise!

We stayed at the hotel for our annual family vacation in December. Extremely disappointed with the experience. First and foremost there is no wifi. Apparently it stopped working 2 weeks before our arrival and it never got fixed the entire time we stayed there. The pools and jacuzzi are small and didn't look inviting at all. The water isn't heated and the facilities aren't even lit up at night. Besides everything shuts down at 8pm. Dreary hotel. Can definitely use a renovation.

First time visting. The place is 5 out 5. Plenty Places to grab food and drinks. Note worthy are the sports bar at their basement level; Pool area that is split adult only and family; and the beach. Want to say special thanks to Armando at the entrance. He always greeted us with a warm smile and a professional demeanor that immediately set the tone for stay.

This is a beautiful resort . The food is excellent and you have the option of cooking in your suite as each is equipped with a kitchen. So you can go all inclusive , cook in you r suite or eat at any restaurant and charge to your account. Very nice pools and a wild beach ! The staff were all great, friendly and helpful, especially our maid. Unfortunately there was a major renovation going on so a lot of the pool area was lost to special events seating. But by now all will be back to normal with a new sports bar and new covered show venue. Should be awesome!!
