Reviews
Absolutely fantastic location relative to Disneyland's main gate, but read the review for full details.

This hotel is in a FANTASTIC location if you want to be close to the main gate of Disneyland (within walking distance - 5 -10 mins max). I suspect that it is also relatively less expensive than the Courty...ard that sits right next door. The front desk staff I interacted with was great - very friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome. All of this being said - this was probably the least "nice" Fairfield Inn I've ever stayed in, so if you are a typical Fairfield Inn person who expects a certain level of... Fairfield Inn-ness, you should be prepared for it to be a lower than usual standards experience. But the location can't be beat. And on Bonvoy points, it was the best value for points in this location when I was there. Let me explain. I know that Fairfield Inns are basic. My expectation is that they provide a decent and clean, basic stay that feels like a Marriott experience, despite being lower end. Nothing fancy, but consistently solid. This Fairfield Inn, while being amazingly located (did I mention the location?) is what I would describe as a slightly "upleveled" Motel 6. To me that meant it was more modern and generally nicer than Motel 6, but also still gave Motel 6 vibes. For example, the shabby-looking window AC unit rumbled all night long, even though I had turned off the "fan" setting on the separately installed wall control panel. It definitely impacted my sleep. And though almost all of the light switches had been updated to the modern flat style you expect to see today, there was still one lone old fashioned switch over the bathroom sink that reminded me of switches from the 60's, and it was dirty. It just made me feel like the details didn't matter. The door to the room also seemed very old and the locking system was pretty shabby. I placed a chair up against the door just in case. To me it felt like the owners bought the property from a different brand and did the bare minimum to get it up to Marriott standards, but definitely missed a few details along the way. The hotel is very large for a Fairfield Inn. I believe it's nine stories, with multiple wings, and my specific room was about as far from the elevator as you could possibly get. I personally had to go out from the elevator lobby and through a thankfully short but creepy hallway that I described to my partner as a "liminal space," only to get to another REALLY long hallway to get to my room at the very end. (see photos) The hallways are outdoors, so it doesn't feel claustrophobic, but as a single woman walking back to my room at 10pm at night, I didn't feel particularly safe, either. I probably wouldn't stay at this hotel again for this reason alone, at least not by myself, or if I did, I would insist on a room very close to the elevator. Amenities: There is no food service at this hotel, but there is a lobby pantry with beverages and snacks, as well as a market gift store that sold souvenirs as well as additional snacks and beverages, including alcohol. There is also a Panera Bread basically on the property that opens at 5:30am and closes pretty late, which was very convenient, as well as a McDonalds and Mimi's Cafe close by. There is a small pool onsite, as well as a game room. All in all, it was totally fine for a really well-priced one-night stay literally at Disneyland's door. If you are super budget-conscious and want to be close to the park in a Marriott property, it fits the bill. However, if I were to do it all over again and had a few more Bonvoy points to spare, I probably would choose to stay at the nicer looking Courtyard that is right next door in the same fantastic location, which also has a pretty nice-looking water park on site.
Don’t stay here.

I would strongly advise you to choose a different hotel to stay in. The photos do not depict what is there in reality. The furniture is tatty, the sofa was worn, the pool may appear great but it next door ...to a carpark. When voicing our concerns nothing else was available and was told I should done more research. We left after one night and went somewhere else. Please opt to stay somewhere else.
