We stayed here for four nights before our Northern Arizona adventure

We were supposed to stay with friends in Scottsdale, but one of them got COVID, so we ended up staying here for four days before hading up to Sedona. The breakfast people are fabulous and the place was pac...ked the days we stayed there right after the Super Bowl. We didn't get our room cleaned, just exchanged our towels as the place was spacious and clean. We used the kitchen a few times. The pool was nice, ya gotta move around cause that sun is hot even in February. The birds are a pain at breakfast and get into things if you don't watch. Front desk staff was super nice and professional and accommodated us on adding extra nights at the same price even though they only had a couple rooms left. The place seemed to be full of older couples, but everywhere in Phoenix is that in the winter time due to the snowbirds. Parking is easy , we faced the back of the Gainey Mall shops, but we didn't spend much time in the room. Rooms are a LITTLE dated, but not too noticeable.
Beware, bad experience!

The bed was hard as a rock, did not have a good night sleep because of that. As expensive as the room was there should have been a better bed. Also, my expensive curling iron went missing. I did not notic...e it was missing until after I checked out. I called and was told that housekeeping was closed for the night. Receptionist told me she would leave a note, and someone would call me in the morning. No one called. I ended up going back to Sonesta, spoke to the manager and he told me nothing was found in the room. I find that hard to believe because I know I left it there. I hate to say this, but it was probably taken. Very distasteful and disappointing. I would not stay there again not worth it and not the price.
