we liked the hotel, despite the fact that the rooms clearly have problems with AC The service is good, they try, the food is good, but this is more of a family hotel. If you want fun, then you should go somewhere else. If you want to buy souvenirs and present then we highly recommend going to the OQP store on the Plaza front of the hotel, it's the first one on the left. There is an excellent salesperson and a wonderful person, Lily. She can give a lot of good advice, she speaks several languages. Hi, Lili, you're the best!!!

Bad quality rooms and service

Dirty pools Dirty and smelly lakes Crowded areas, long lines for the bars Continuous light in the rooms during night from outside. 2 adult 2 child = 2 towels Extreme loud music at the bars and at the restaurants during dinner Staff is generally not friendly and is not welcome to you.

Cold shower every day

Resort is pretty nice. Well decorated.Food at the buffet was pretty good, beach nice and wide with usually beds were available all the time. But.. we stayed at villa 40 and every evening around 5-6 pm when we were coming back from the beach there was no hot water, so basically we were having cold showers every day. We reported that right the way to the desk twice and to the Sunwing rep, but no response. Internet in the resort basically sucks. You have an option to upgrade your internet connection for 18usd which I find a little ridiculous and a total ripoff after you pay for 5* hotel. Restaurants, we visited two and had enough. Went to Mexican and Indian. Food had nothing to do with Mexico or India. Absolut dissaster. We had some casadia,tacos,some chicken.. don't even try. Lamb curry.. chef special.. omg. Couldn't taste any lamb neither curry.. idn what that suppose to be. We didn't go anywhere else as we've been to Japanese, Asian restaurants many time. Anyway stick to the buffet, it was OK. I don't like bad reviews but imagine having cold showers every day. I guess that all I ll remember and the fact that nobody gives a sht.

Great Breakfast

Really great service from all the team, especially at La Hispanola buffet. Alexandra Salcedo, Adalgisa, Willy, Greisy, Yuvelka, Leonardo and Juan R always greeted us with a smile and went the extra mile to ensure our drinks were topped up. Would thoroughly reccommend!

Nice beach but big health problems.

We were in this resort as a family of 8 people and a small child. Basically, everything was fine, nice beach and ocean. A big problem occurred 2 days before departure, when we all got diarrhea, vomiting and stomach cramps. It remained for me about 10 days after returning. We met other guests with these problems. We were careful about what we ate, no fish, meat or juice...only eggs, vegetables, rice, potatoes and bottled water + prosecco...it was impossible to avoid lag in drinks or water in the restaurant. I have been to Dominikánka 5 times, but this has never happened to me.
