Such a waste

My wife an I are in our early 70s and have travelled to Punta Cana, Santa Domingo, Sosua and Puerto plata each place several times ove the last 40 years. Initially, I gave it a 5 out of 5 star rating because they responded quickly to issues and was very appreciative. They offered us 4 specialty restaurants and each one was very good. We stayed at the Impressive for a week, We had the japanese, mexican, italian, and steak grille house. I got deathly ill Sunday night with vomitting, diareaha and stomach craampts which went on for2 full days. AAI went to the lobby to see if there was a doctor on site. They said I'd have to go back to my room and return with my passport and social security card.. I declined and toughed it out. . 2 days later, my wife had it and she had the same symptons. I filled a report with the concierge. Now the front desk said that the addional charge that theey were going to charge me for the late checkout would be waved but later they reneged on the offer. My wife was doubled over in pain the last day of our stay so she neede rest. Upon checkout, They would only give me the ticket to board the bus to get to the airport if I paid cash for the additional hours which I had already used. Sorry but needless to say we were not impressed with this resort. I don't think we will be returning to the Dominican again because of this incident and the fact that it was just to busy on the beach Too many americans and europeans..

Great Resort But There Are Things Left a Bit To Be Desired.

This was my first time staying at an all-inclusive resort, so I don’t have much to compare it to, but overall, it was a mixed experience. Let’s start with the positives: The resort property itself was fantastic. The grounds were beautiful, well-maintained, and lush. The beach was stunning, with soft sand and clear blue waters, and the pier added a nice touch to the scenic views. The pools were great, perfect for both adults and kids, and there was a lot of entertainment offered, making it a very family-friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re lounging by the pool or enjoying the beach, there’s plenty to do for everyone. The food was one of the highlights of our stay. The variety and quality were impressive, and there were several delicious options at the restaurants. The drinks, however, were just okay. They didn’t stand out much, but they were certainly refreshing, especially when enjoying a cocktail by the beach. Now, on to the more frustrating aspects. The room itself was disappointing. It was a bit substandard, with some areas falling apart—definitely not up to the standards I was expecting from an all-inclusive resort. We had also requested a crib for our toddler in advance, but it wasn’t available when we arrived. This made the first night a bit challenging for us, though they did provide one the next day. The air conditioning didn’t work properly for the first few nights, which made it uncomfortable, especially with a young child. It took a couple of days to get the issue fixed. The staff was very nice and tried their best, but there were language barriers as most of the team didn’t speak much English. While that’s understandable, it did make communication a bit tricky at times. Most of the staff were friendly and professional, though some seemed to lack proper training, which caused a few minor inconveniences during our stay. Overall, the resort itself had a lot to offer with its amenities, beautiful property, and family-friendly atmosphere. However, the issues with the room and some service aspects left a bit to be desired. For a first-time all-inclusive stay, it was decent, but I do hope they address these areas for future guests

Great hotel, bar service awful

Great food, nice and clean room, beautiful beach. Garden is real nice and enjoyable, a felt safe all the time But beach bar service is awful, because you need to wait in line at least 20 minuts every time to take a drink. Same situation with lobby bar at evening

Our trip at Impressive

We really enjoyed our trip away. There were a few negatives about the resort and a lot of good things. The resort is not overly big which is good you can walk everywhere on the resort. They are always cleaning the grounds which of very nice. The pools are nice although they were low on water while we were there only up to our waist due to a water issue. When it rained during the night it helped fill them. You couldn't get away from the noise at either of the pools. Always loud. There is a quiet pool which is over by the pool for premium customers but unfortunately, the pool for the premium customers was loud so really no quiet pool area. The beach is beautiful. There is no elevator there, so if you have bad legs and cannot walk to the 4th floor request to be put on a lower floor. The rooms are old and really need a good face lift. They were kept really clean though. Staff was really friendly. The food at the buffet was really good, a la carte underwhelming. There was an issue with the mini burgers one day. They were completely raw in the middle. I showed the staff and told them the should remove them before someone got sick, but I saw they were still sitting there. A lot of these little things you can over look. For the price I think you get what you pay for. It definitely isn't a 4 1/2 star. I think the one thing that drove us crazy is the vendors that were always at the resort selling products at supper time. You could not avoid them and they constantly harassed you every direction you walked. There was no getting by them. I can see maybe one night a week but it was every 3 nights and when your there for 2 weeks, it becomes more than annoying. The wi fi is the worst there, so if you need it you may want to look into getting something. All in all we had a good trip. We probably would not stay at this resort again.

Clean, friendly staff, good food, and close to Punta Cana airport Comfortable beds, well-kept green areas, excellent shows, very good entertainment team, The activities in the pool area are very good, and the restaurants are good. excellent experience.
