Whole stay was terrible. While I did not come on vacation to be on my phone I do still need it to communicate with family. I am here with my daughter, she is only 14. She went to the lobby/theater for the mini disco. The location was changed, no updated info on the app. She decided to walk back to the room. It starts raining, hard. She is wet, she cannot see from her glasses, it is dark (very pour lighting) gets lost and is unable to call or send me a message because if the WIFI would not stay connected longer than 5 mins! Many things ruined trip, but this was the biggest issue. She did not want to leave my side and enjoy anything cuz she was anxious about not being able to contact me. The app only works if you have wifi (see above), you dnt get actual notifications or reminders. Things listed on the app dnt start on time. Waiting 15 minutes for a cooking workshop told it was canceled. Later found they actually did have the workshop. I gave all this information to the concierge. I went to follow up since I had no comunicantion no call from a manager. Radio silence. I would love to be reimbursed for this as it was not the trip we were sold. The Facebook group Impressive Resorts & Spa Punta Cana (Fans and guests) is a sham. They will delete your post if you state any issues and just want the next person to be informed or aware. And will downplay your concerns (wifi) as if you are the problem.

Truly awful service to UK non Spanish speaking guests . The Lobby bar male server with name beginning with “L” is a very aggressive rude individual to anyone who does not speak Spanish and particularly UK guests, this also applies to the male severs at the pool bar who are also disgusting towards YK guests along with the two female servers at the coffee shop servers. These two females once they are aware they you are English speaking are very very rude and quite evident that they do NOT want to serve you. Although a beautiful resort, it is so sad that these individuals let it down with their obnoxious disgusting behaviour towards non Spanish speaking Guests. Will NEVER return again. I can guarantee that the response from the resort is the normal CUT and PASTE response they they always post, why? Because they do NOT care about UK guests
