The hotel is beyond terrible from every level. the rooftop started to play loud music and that’s when it started to go down hill. The front desk switched me to a “quite” room but asking for surcharge, and asked me to bring down the old key to them right away while elevator was not working. When I walked into the room, the ceiling debris was on the floor everywhere and the room is extremely dusty which you can see in the photo. The music was loud and the rooftop party was til 2am. The pool was supposed to be nice but it was rainstorm and chair and tables are on the floor everywhere. When I went to front desk and asked them if there is anything they can do to compensate , they waived the breakfast which is like 14 dollars and then immediately threatened me if I write any bad review they will charge me back. The front desk guy said, we have your credit card. You can’t write any bad reviews. Stay away from them!

The hotel is good and cristina it’s the best manager. The food is good , I come back ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

The Fives Downtown is conveniently located to great restaurants and nightlife. The complimentary breakfast is great and runs from 7-11. Cristina was very kind and helpful. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting Playa del Carmen.

We LOVED our stay at the hotel!!! Yarely was great checking us in and out of our rooms, Christina ensured everything was to our expectations, and Domingo was always available to help us with our luggage. The location is right on 5th Avenue near shops, entertainment, and the beach! We will definitely be back!

Our room was beautiful and exceptionally clean. Separate bedroom, kitchenette, living room and dining area. Very nice outdoor balcony/sitting area. The Sunday Brunch is excellent, as is the roof top pool. Their service and staff are great. Our only thing, Saturday nights, the noise from downstairs was awful. Other than that, we had a wonderful time.
