Great place, cannot wait to come back!

While the ongoing construction was a bit of a surprise, overall the experience was great. The food was fantastic and the best part was our regular server at supper buffet, Luis Adolfo. If you get him, you will be looked after exceptionally well. The beach is fabulous and the shows were very well done. Bravo!

Ramon and Marco were the cherry on top!

We had a fantastic trip with our family of 5 (including picky teenagers). The renovations look beautiful, food was delicious, and we had AMAZING service from Ramon (in the buffet) and Marco (in the Mediterranean restaurant) honestly, all the staff were great, but the sports bar staff could use some work. This is our 4th time visiting, and we will definitely come back.

had an amazing time at this resort with my family! renovations are looking fantastic and the service i received from Ramon in the buffet and Marco from the mediterranean restaurant, was outstanding and we will definitely be back to visit soon!

Disappointing

Not sure where to start this will be a big one grab a coffee ?? Check in ok took too long for a simple process, no refreshment where offered Room was good a little run down, our family had another room which was ok too but they do not get a mini bar and the fridge is very sparse! The hotel is gearing its self up to the premier customers,we where offered to go the the platinum club for free breakfast and sit through a presentation ( time share) and get a hydro session. We went to look round the hotel and we had no idea that the refurbishments where taking place, many restaurants closed the main pool was closed on our second day, we couldn’t find the new pool and tour of the hotel would have been so helpful to show what was closed and where things had moved too, our agent was trying to get us moved the the hotel insisted that everything was at full service, we feel that we didn’t get the full amity’s that where shown when booking, we did go to the reception to chat to them to explain our frustrations but I am afraid they where just very curt “ what do you want then was the reply” I think they are so sick of the complaints. We book the Italian oh what a fiasco we arrived a little early to be told off like little children the staff where running round like headless chickens, our booking was 9.15 our food arrive at 10pm 3 dishes which where cold,one dish arrived 15 minutes before the others, at that point we gave up and left very dissatisfied. Entertainment is just woeful out of sync dancers( improvement as the week went on much better ) and trying to find out what is on is just a guessing game yet again no information on that or anything else for that matter. The staff are working so hard and are always very cheerful they look stretched to the limits. Weekends are just so busy filling up with locals having a break so even worse to book in to the restaurants that are open This is day 4 so hold on for the rest of the week Out of 5 restaurants they said we could have we could only get one the dreaded Italian experience So not slots for the other 4 so buffet for the next 10days which is ok very repetitive! The disappointed grows daily Tried again October 13th to book any of the restaurants non available again Bingo booked the Japanese and got there for it to be Peruvian it’s says on the website Japanese served in the Peruvian very miss leading, we politely asked the question at reception to be told sometimes it Japanese some times it Peruvian we ask how would we know this, the answer was she didn’t know, the same happens with the Italian and Mexican so they said, at this point I completely gave up one hand doesn’t know what the other is doing ?????????? Ladies toilets closed 3 times at the pool area while I was there I got chatting to 2 Americans who are very disappointed they are regular customers who can’t believe the chaos that’s going on, the restaurant and bar staff are very pleasant the reception staff need to take a leaf out of their book a few smiles and helpful attitude wouldn’t go a miss, we didn’t even know there was an app for information until the last few days which I was very frustrating Plus points The coffee shop was nice ! And Hugo at the bar was lovely ?? and the wild life is amazing too This resort was recommended by a family member who had an awesome time this was pre renovations, we definitely would not have booked here if we had known all this work was going on.

Angel the best waiter I’ve ever experienced

Angel at Pueblito Lindo was the most amazing waiter we’ve ever had. His customer service skills were the most impressive I’ve ever experienced. He went above and beyond to ensure our dinner with 10 seats all had amazing service. I can’t compliment this man enough.
