Stayed in this hotel to break up a trip from CA to PEI (by way of Toronto) and on the return trip. The first time we stayed here we were able to get an upgrade into the family room with the cute tent with a bed and one of the queen beds had safari sheets (so cute!). We had intended on taking the train into Toronto, but because the room had so many fun things for our son, we decided to get food from the club house and restaurant downstairs and was stayed to play on the hop skotch rug and draw on the art easel. The club house was great with snacks at 5:30pm and breakfast in the morning. We were also able to get a short ride on the Peloton bikes to stretch out being on the plane. The pool seemed really nice as well for families who needed to have their kids get their energy out. Hotel was very family friendly and it was nice to have a clean comfortable place to hang out and sleep for our next flight. Easy to get to from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 by way of the train (only takes a few mins so it was good to not have to feel rushed - one stop away). Only con was the shower was a bit lacking with water pressure and lack of softness of towels. Definitely a must do if you have a long layover or need to be at the airport early.

As I flew to Toronto at night, I have decided to book the Sheraton Gateway Hotel, which is located right next to terminal 3 of the Toronto Airport, and has direct access from there to the hotel. That said, I couldn’t locate the bridge linking the two sites and had to enter the premise at the carpark area, so make sure you have the perseverance in finding the right exit when you arrived at the airport, and also don’t trust google map cos it will lead you to nowhere. The moment that I arrived at the lobby, I found this to be oozing Sheraton style, which is quite cozy, but once you have reached the hotel floors, you will realise this is quite the old version of Sheraton, which is slightly gloomy along the corridor. This gloomy vibe continues in their rooms, which, although newly refurbished, still exudes a kind of datedness, and that includes placing a bible in the drawer of the bedside table, which to me is very typical four star hotels. The bathroom surprisingly looked more modern than the bedroom. For bathroom amenities, they have used Gilchrist And Soames, a British brand which is quite soothing to use, but again don’t expect that to be in the same league as other luxury brands like Lanvin or Ferragamo . It also does not have a bathtub, which is OK for me. As for food, while I can accept their use of Starbucks as their affiliated coffee supplier, the fact that I have lounge access but have to paid for the food was actually quite baffling, as a lounge without free food to me is just another lobby or library. That said, the food they served was actually quite decent, However, the most WTF moment was the fact that I was lured by the checkin staff to pay an extra CAD70 for breakfast at this lounge, which is not even A&W standard, not to mention their coffee machine was broken and only have milk but no coffee… As for fitness facilities, the hotel has both the gym and swimming pool. The gym has all the most essential facilities like dumbbell treadmill and strength training machines, while the pool is heated and although not very large, it’s good enough for an airport hotel. Overall, this stay is not a bad experience, however, at CAD 400 per night, I think there are actually more affordable choices within the area of terminal three, so the next time if I really need to stay in an airport hotel in Toronto, I would probably pick cheaper ones like its sibling Four Points.

Very convenient hotel for people traveling out of Pearson airport. I found the rooms to be comfortable and clean. The fact that the hotel is connected to the Terminal Link train is also very handy. I'd recommend this hotel for people who need a place to sleep near the airport.

Fantastic, friendly, helpful staff, clean, nice rooms with a huge TV, coffee machine and a wonderfully comfortable bed. Really cannot praise the staff or room comfort more. Had great room service options, including vegan and gluten free. Unfortunately let down by a poor breakfast with soggy unseasoned potatoes, stale bagels, tiny pots of cream cheese and burned bacon - one of the worst hotel breakfasts l've ever had. The noise level is very high - The hotel faces Terminal 3 drop off zone so cars beep their horns constantly (at what, I don't know - I'm not sure why the airport allows it) and the airport internal train runs by every 4/8 minutes all night - the hotel desperately needs more soundproofing. The bathroom toiletries smell masculine and musty. A lighter, more neutral smell that would work for everyone would be appreciated, but that's a personal preference and didn't impact my

Airline staff provided us with a hotel voucher to Sheraton Gateway Hotel on Fri, 24 May, after our 3:35PM international flight was cancelled and rebooked to 1:40AM the next day. This elegant hotel is just up the escalator from Toronto Pearson Terminal 3 Departures—very convenient airport location. With hotel and food vouchers in hand, we followed the airline rep to the hotel entrance at level 2. We were met with a long lineup of fellow inconvenienced passengers at the front desk. [Note: Front desk is to the right, past the entrance, while hotel restaurant is to the left.] One hotel staff gave everyone in the queue bottled water as we awaited our turn. Twenty mins later, my family of 3 adults was assigned a double queen room (room 474) on the 4th floor. Hotel elevators require key card tap in order to access guest floors. Our room, overlooking the parking lot, was clean, spacious and well-appointed. Room features include mini-fridge, coffee maker, two complimentary bottled water, hotel room safe, ironing board, clothes iron, wooden hangers, flat screen TV, large full-length mirror, bench, desk and blackout curtains, among other things. Queen beds were soft and comfortable. Bathroom has a sizable single vanity sink, big brightly lit mirror, regular toilet and walk-in shower with sliding glass door. If I had to nitpick, the toilet lacked a built-in or handheld bidet. We checked in at 7PM so after a quick refresh we made our way to the hotel restaurant, &More By Sheraton, at level 2 to use our dinner vouchers. The restaurant was packed with fellow passengers from the cancelled flight and we observed that the swamped server was more gruff than brisk in dealing with some of them. We were sitting next to where the single-page menus were stacked so we reached for them rather than wait for her to hand them to us. She brought us chilled water, cutleries and cloth napkins while we perused the menu. When she finally returned to take our order, we asked for flight club sandwich ($25) mama’s margherita pizza ($24) and the fun guy ($26) pizza. We were warned that food may take 20-30 mins but ours didn’t take that long. Our food looked appetizing, tasted good and was filling. We were very hungry, we easily cleaned up our plates. Unfortunately, we only got to stay at Sheraton Gateway Hotel for a few hours. Our rebooked flight was too early for us to even enjoy a good nap in our room. We eventually checked out at 11PM and walked back to Terminal 3 departure area.
