Great for Family Travel- Not for Couples seeking romantic vacay.

Jacquie H (Orlando, Florida) on May 10, 2025

Great for families- not so much for couples. The entertainment team exceeded our expectations- a very talented group. The food exceeded our expectations; however, the Italian restaurant was awful! The food... was left uncovered and the buffet food was covered in black bugs. People were basically putting bug infested food on their plates. I had to leave- no way I could stay there. The snorkeling is amazing on the premises. The beach is breathtaking; most employees are friendly and courteous. You will encounter the worst people at the airport!!! The island airport employees are the rudest employees I have ever encountered. Lots of wedding parties, seems to be the place to get married. If you want romance, Beaches is not for you. Sesame Street characters everywhere and the kids all seemed very happy and entertained. The golf course is about 15 minutes away and nothing impressive if you have golfed at places such as Exuma. It is not on the water and currently under construction. I did not like it at all. The club restaurant is very good! The best part was the beach and the entertainment team. The french restaurant excellent, the English Pub awesome. Arizona for BBQ food- amazing. Beaches reservations failed to notify us that room service was not included for Club Level rooms- at this location, only Butler service will provide in-room dining. Sandals has always included in room for club level category- otherwise, why spend more? I could stay at the lowest rate and save money. This was a huge disappointment! We asked upon reservation and nobody told us this location does not provide this service.

3Times a charm at Beaches Turks and Caicos

Joanne G (Paramus, New Jersey) on May 09, 2025

We recently revisited Beaches Turks and Caicos for a family celebration. We stayed at French Village again mostly due to Paul Lewis, one of the top notch managers . Paul goes above and beyond for his guest...s. He makes sure his guests are 100% satisfied during their stay. He is personable and very accommodating. Also wanted to acknowledge the crew at Italian Village Bar. TeJane, Alex and Simone provided wonderful conversation along with great cocktails! One more mention to Karen at Jerk Shack truck. Karen was so sweet and genuinely happy to serve her guests. Also wanted to mention the food was spectacular there. We can’t wait to return for our next celebration . Maybe Cordero will be back on the entertainment circuit ! We missed him !!!

Where do I Start !

Josh T on May 09, 2025

I dont know where to start with this resort. It has the potential to be the best Family Resort in the world, the positives, The Beach, best beach ever, I do feel they could do more to clean it though, I we...nt to Sandals Barbados in January and they were cleaning the beach everyday and this showed. The grounds are amazing, the Gardners do a fantastic job and are so friendly. No negatives, Too many, loud, drunk and rude Americans, the staff do nothing to combat this, not the sort of behaviour I want round my children. Bar Staff, majority are very rude, do not acknowledge, constantly serving the pushy Americans first, I feel the British have a common courtesy that they will make sure who ever was waiting first will get served first. But the Bar Staff you get the feel you are a inconvenience to them asking for a drink. Not what you expect at a resort like this. Food waiting times are ridiculous, specially Marios. I dont know whether the food at this resort is not upto usual Sandals Standards because it has to cater for families but I was disappointed with the quality, specially after waiting so long. Was also disappointed that Bombay is no longer here, after experience it at Sandals Barbados I was really disappointed to hear it is no longer here. The pools are great the Italian pool is lively and the place to be. I was disappointed that the Surf Machine did not work the whole 10 days we were there. Apparently it has been out of action a while, surely it can fixed simply enough, if not take it away and stop advertising it. For the money we paid I rate this a 1 Star, but a few minor adjustments and this could easily be the best family resort in the world.

A beautiful property with everyting a family needs

Poisson54 (Salem, New Hampshire) on May 08, 2025

This was a trip with the extended family - 6 adults, two kids and one baby. We splurged and had a Butler service room. It was a terrific experience with one exception - I'll get to that shortly. The room ...was exactly what our group of 9 needed. Fridge stocked every day with what we requested. Housekeeping was excellent. Our butlers - Dzane and Kenomar were fantastic. Always available and there when we needed them. They arranged reserving cabanas at the beach of pool for us every day (including stocking a cooler with cold drinks), helped us get things arranged for our big group at every restaurant, arranged food deliveries, and remembered all of our names. One morning we had breakfast at a restaurant that did not offer espresso. Our butler ran to another restaurant and got us one. Another time one of the kids wanted a fried chicken sandwich delivered to our room, but the restaurant only had grilled chicken. Our butler went to a restaurant that offered fried chicken, got a piece, and had the first restaurant substitute it in the sandwich. One in our party need distilled water for his CPAP machine, and we mentioned it at check-in. By the time we got to our room, a bottle was waiting for us. It was just amazing. The pools were great and the beach rates a perfect 10 score. The excursions offered by Island Routes are expensive but very enjoyable. The water sport equipment was very good and plentiful. Several in our party took advantage of the spas for massages, etc., and enjoyed them fully. Internet service was fair. Upgrading to higher speed is not too expensive ($80 for the week). Movies are available but not free. The restaurants were mostly very good to excellent. Sky, Sapodilla, and Petit Chateau were the best, likely because they are for adults only. The kids loved the Mac n Cheese truck at the water park (yes...water park!) and enjoyed the Fro-Yo shop, with lots of flavors and toppings. The service at Barefoot was very slow. The only exception to the otherwise excellent experience came on the last night of our visit - the kids wanted to have dinner at Kimono's (hibachi-style Japanese restaurant). This was to be the grand finale of the vacation and everyone was looking forward to it. Since we had a baby with us, we chose an early reservation (6:15). We ended up having to wait a long time for our table and other tables that arrived after us were served before us, which was disappointing. We ultimately did not get our appetizers until 7:15. By then the baby was getting fussy and the parents had to take her back to the room, spoiling our all-family experience. Then the chef arrived and discovered that the cooking surface was not heating up. After 30 minutes of several people examining it, finally cooking commenced on only the center section of the cooktop at 7:45. The chef (Trudy) did an excellent job under the circumstances, and managed to get all the parts of the meal cooked, even thought it took much longer than usual. We were the last party to leave the restaurant at 8:30. Our server was very apologetic, and if this had been at a stand-alone restaurant, we would undoubtedly have been offered some kind of consideration - voucher for a future meal, comped meals, whatever, but at an all-inclusive, there's nothing available to offer. As a result, there's nothing for a disappointed customer to do but write about it on TA. Hopefully Beaches management will read this and maybe consider testing their cooktops before guests arrive and being more sensitive to prioritizing service to parties with infants in tow. We are nonetheless planning another trip to this property in the future and would definitely recommend it for a low-stress family vacation.

This was our first trip to Beaches Turks and Caicos. We were 100% satisfied with everything the resort offered. We loved it so much, we’ve booked a return visit.
