Great hotel all around

Excellent hotel experience. The service has been incredible from the very start. Our room is very clean, stylish, and we'll appointed. The location is perfect and the views are beautiful. A true 5 star experience when many hotels of the same calibre have fallen off. I highly recommend!
Disappointing

I am not one to complain but after a round the world trip and experiencing fabulous hotels, given the amount we paid for this hotel, it did not live up to expectations. Our room was ready an hour after check in and we still never received notification. We were told breakfast was included and then got a bill as we "exceeded" the limit, were never told there was a limit and all we had was the regular breakfast and 2 orange juices, not even a coffee. Given our check out time of 4am, I did not have time to discuss this with staff but it really was unacceptable. We could not find a place to sit in the evening in the reception bar as it was fully booked with functions every night. The room we booked was with a jacuzzi which was square - very uncomfortable. This being our 12th hotel on our trip, all with jacuzzi's and many Fairmont hotels, it was the least impressive. On booking the room showed beautiful views but we were shoved on the 8th floor with a view of the roof in front of us and perhaps with binoculars you could see Stanley Park. Really not worth the price point.
