Pricey, dated, unclean, VERY UNCOMFORTABLE SPRINGY MATTRESS!
NWTraveler983 (Seattle, Washington) on May 15, 2025
Dated, worn interior. Horrible pile of springs for a mattress. Stayed for 2 nights. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. I knew the decor was dated, but I didn’t expect unclean rooms with an uncomfort...able bed. Never had such a poor nights sleep in a Marriott property. Pros include the location, and usually fast elevators. Staff seemed nice enough but this property needs a complete refresh! Not a good value at $500/night.
A nice hotel in an EXCELLENT location

We arrived at the hotel the day before the Vancouver Marathon so access was not easy, but once the Marathon was over there were no issues. The location was perfect - easy walks to Stanley Park, the Seawall..., Canada Place, Gastown and many other parts of the city. The hotel restaurant was really good with friendly service. We did have a maintenance issue over the weekend (broken AC) but once I notified them, it was fixed within a few hours and all was good after that. The rates were a bit pricey, but that is to be expected due to the hotel's location. I would definitely stay here again.
Fine hotel in downtown Vancouver

This is a good hotel amongst many in downtown Vancouver. Close to the coal harbour waterfront and many great restaurants and attractions. Staff were professional and helpful. Seems popular w folks going to... a cruise ship the next day so busy during that season. Unfortunately, I had a room (1506) that was right beside a very noisy ice machine. They did try to move me but apparently were full.

The hotel location is amazing, nearby restaurants, coffees and downtown. The staff was very friendly specially Matias at the front desks The room was spacious and the view incredible! We will be definitely... back and we highly recommend it as one of the best places to stay in the city.
Wonderful Stay

Stayed one night on floor 26 with a beautiful view of coal harbour. We had a room with 2 double beds, bathtub and separate shower. The floors are quiet and beds very comfortable. We had access to the clu...b lounge located on the main floor. The lounge is stocked with a good variety of Soda, juice, chips, and candy. The morning breakfast had bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes, fresh fruit, cold cuts, cheese, and hot oatmeal. There were 2 cappuccino coffee machines. The hotel is great location with lots of excellent restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
